The invention relates to a portable, programmable telephone call annunciator and, in particular, to a telephone call annunciator for annunciating a telephone call to a personal mobile telephone number .

Telephone number. If, for example, there are several such telephone call detectors belonging to different subscribers in a room, all telephone call detectors report an incoming telephone call by emitting a signal. An existing ISDN system can also trigger the signal. This can lead to considerable confusion among the subscribers, as it is not possible to determine which of the subscribers in the room is being called.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a portable, programmable telephone call alarm device, which only reports an incoming telephone call if this telephone call is personally intended for the wearer of this portable telephone call alarm device.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a portable, programmable telephone call alarm device having the features specified in claim 1.

Further advantageous embodiments of the portable programmable telephone call alarm device according to the invention emerge from the appended subclaims.

In the following, a preferred embodiment of the portable programmable telephone call annunciator according to the invention is described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The programmable telephone call detector according to the invention has a receiver for receiving telephone call signals. The receiver is designed, for example, to receive telephone transmission signals in a transmission frequency range for portable telephones. The receiver is located, for example, in the rear part of the housing 1 of the ballpoint pen shown in the figure. The ballpoint pen housing 1 can be attached to the clothing of a wearer via a clip-on bracket device 2. In a preferred embodiment, the bracket also serves as an antenna for the telephone signal receiver housed in the housing 1. In the ballpoint pen housing 1, a decoder connected to the receiver is also provided, which decodes the dialed telephone number from the received telephone call signals. The decoded received telephone number is fed to a comparator switching device, which checks whether the dialed telephone number corresponds to a programmed group of digits.

In the ballpoint pen housing 1 there is a programming device for entering any group of numbers, for example a personal

Subscriber telephone number. In the preferred embodiment shown in Figure 1, the programming device consists of a selection or select key and a setting or set key 4. The digit position is selected by pressing the selection key 3, whereby each time the selection key is pressed, the next digit position to be programmed is selected. The desired respective number is then entered by pressing the setting key 4. In the preferred embodiment, each time the setting key 4 is pressed again, the selected number is increased by one. After the programming process has ended, the entered group of digits is stored in a storage device. The end of the programming is preferably recognized by the fact that no more entries have been made via the programming device for a certain period of time. A timer is provided in the ballpoint pen housing 1 for this purpose.

The group of digits programmed by the user stored in the memory device consists, for example, of the last digits of a personal subscriber telephone number of the user. In a preferred embodiment, the last four digits of the personal subscriber telephone number are stored and are sufficient to recognize the personal cell phone number.

In the ballpoint pen housing 1, a reporting device is also provided for emitting a reporting signal if the programmed stored group of digits is contained in the decoded dialled telephone number. A comparison circuit device contained in the decoder

compares the stored group of digits with the dialed telephone number and activates the signaling device via a control line if the stored group of digits is identical to the decoded telephone number. The signaling device consists of a mechanical vibration device, preferably a vibration coil and/or a light display, such as a light-emitting diode 5. Using the selection switch 6 shown in Figure 1, the user can set whether the light-emitting diode 5 and/or the vibration device are switched on. Using the selection switch 6, the signaling device as a whole, i.e. both the vibration device and the light-emitting diode 5, can also be switched off. If the light-emitting diode 5 is switched on by the selection switch 6 and the comparator circuit contained in the decoder device emits a detection signal which indicates that the programmed group of digits corresponds to the decoded telephone number, the light-emitting diode 5 starts to flash and shows the user that he is currently receiving a telephone call. If the vibration device of the alarm device is switched on by the selection switch 6, the ballpoint pen housing 1 begins to vibrate when the dialed and decoded telephone number corresponds to the programmed group of digits.

In a preferred embodiment, a reset switch 7 is provided, with which the signal emitted by the signaling device can be terminated. In the preferred embodiment shown in Figure 1, the reset switch 7 and the LED 5 are integrated in the push button. The ballpoint pen refill is activated by turning the front part

The ballpoint pen shown in Figure 1 preferably also has a digital number display 8, which makes it easier for the user to program the group of numbers. When the selection button 3 is pressed, an optical cursor jumps from one digit to the next and when the setting button 4 is pressed, the number indicated at the corresponding digit is increased by one. Preferably, the digital number display 8 shows the telephone number from which the call is being made or the dialing telephone number in addition to the programmed group of numbers. This enables the user to see who is calling and to assess the importance of the call.

Figure 2 shows the rear part of the ballpoint pen housing 1 shown in Figure 1. In the preferred embodiment shown in Figure 2, two button batteries 9 can be easily inserted into the rear part of the ballpoint pen housing and serve to supply power to the electronics housed in the ballpoint pen housing 1. In a preferred embodiment, the digital number display 8 also shows the charge level of the batteries connected in a secondary field. In a further preferred embodiment, the receiver mounted in the ballpoint pen housing 1 receives a radio signal via an antenna, for example in the form of the clip 2, which indicates the current time, with the time also being shown on the digital number display.

The telephone call signals received by the receiver of the portable, programmable telephone call detector can come from any telephone system, such as a portable cell phone, an ISDN telephone or even a Highcom telephone system. The functionality of the ballpoint pen shown in Figure 1 is fully retained, i.e. the ballpoint pen can be used like a normal ballpoint pen.

Portable, programmable telephone call indicator according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the reset button (7) and the flashing LED (5) are integrated into the push button for actuating the refill of the ballpoint pen. 19. Portable, programmable telephone call alarm according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one battery for power supply can be inserted into the housing (1).
