KugelhahnBall valve
Die Neuerung betrifft einen Kugelhahn, insbesondere für Wasserversorgungs-Druckleitungen, mit einer Kugel mit Durchgangsbohrung als Absperrkörper, die schwimmend zwischen einerseits einem Führungsring (7) und andererseits einem armierten Dichtring gelagert ist und daß der Absperrkörper über Bedienhebel betätigt wird.The innovation relates to a ball valve, in particular for water supply pressure lines, with a ball with a through hole as a shut-off body, which is mounted in a floating manner between, on the one hand, a guide ring (7) and, on the other hand, a reinforced sealing ring and that the shut-off body is actuated via an operating lever.
Bekannt sind Kugelhähne, die eine schwimmende Kugel besitzen und mit Hebel bedient werden. Weiterhin sind Kugelhähne bekannt, deren Bedienhebel in einem Ausschnitt der führungsseitigen Kugelkalotte gelenkartig befestigt ist (DE 42 17 112 Cl, EP 04 61 294 Al). Diese Ausführungen mit geschlitzter Kugel setzen voraus, daß formstabile Werkstoffe, wie Stahl, Gußeisen oder stark armierte Duroplaste für den Absperrkörper verwendet werden, da der Ausschnitt für den Bedienungshebel die Stabilität des Kugel-Ringquerschnitts unterbricht und diese Schwächung werkstoffmäßig ausgeglichen werden muß. Die auf die Kugel wirkenden Axialkräfte, hervorgerufen durch die Druckkräfte im geschlossenen Zustand des Kugelhahn, pressen sonst den Kugel-Ausschnitt so weit zusammen, daß die Funktion des Bedienhebels behindert wird.Ball valves are known that have a floating ball and are operated with a lever. Die Neuerung setzt sich zur Aufgabe, diese Nachteile zu beseitigen. Das wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Anlenkungen der Bedienhebel 1 außen am Umfang der Kugel erfolgt und keine durchgehenden Ausschnitte erforderlich sind. Die bei der Neuerung verwendeten Aussparungen 2 sind beiderseits der Kugelachse, außen auf der Kugeloberfläche 3, angeordnet und unterbrechen den tragenden Kugel-Ringquerschnitt nicht. Dadurch wird die Stabilität des Kugel-Ringquerschnitts weitgehend erhalten und es ist möglich thermoplastische Kunststoffe, wie HD-PE einzusetzen, die außerdem für den Einsatz in Trinkwasseranlagen zugelassen sind und keinen zusätzlichen Oberflächenschutz erfordern.The innovation aims to eliminate these disadvantages.
