Description
To measure eye motility, a large "coordinate system" (Maddox cross or tangent scale according to Harms) has been used so far. The invention relates to the reduction of this system, a simplified recording and the automatic calculation of the viewing angles.
Beschreibung einer Ausführung anhand Abb.l: Description of an execution based on Fig.l :
Auf einem Monitor (6) werdenA patient looks at a digitizing board (1) that is equipped with at least one point light source. The digitizing board is connected to a computer (7). On a monitor (6)
Examination results are displayed and the examination procedure is shown. These can be printed out on a printer (8). If there is only one light source (3) on the digitizing board (1), this is preferably located in the center of the digitizing board. If the light source emits white light, the patient looks through a red lens with one eye to separate the fusion. The patient sees the light source twice during fusion separation. The patient or assistant marks the position of the red light source on the digitizing board (1) with a marking device (2). The computer calculates the angular deviations between the right and left eyes from the distance between the marking and the white light source. This test is carried out for different viewing directions.
Die verschieden Blickrichtungen sind in diesem System derart simulierbar, indem der Kopf des Patienten relativ zum Digitalisierbrett unter Fixation der zentralen Lampe geneigt wird oder indem ohne Bewegungen des Kopfes mehrereThe different viewing directions can be simulated in this system by tilting the patient's head relative to the digitizing board while fixing the central lamp or by moving the head several times
Eccentrically installed light sources are fixed on the digitizing board. In the first case, the patient's head inclination can be measured by having the patient wear a head tracking system (head inclination measuring system) (4) on their head, which sends the current measurement data to a computer. The second possibility is to wear a forehead indicator, which shows the current head inclination on a scale (9) on the digitizing board.
Furthermore, the point-shaped light source can also be displayed as a line, for example with the help of a diffuser. The patient then marks individual points of the line double image to measure and calculate the cyclorotation of the eyes.
In addition, the field of binocular single vision can be marked with the marking device (2). The patient does not wear a color filter in front of one eye, but marks the outer limits on the digitizing board under which he simply perceives the fixation light.
