Faltschachteln mit Schwenkdeckel sind als Zigarettenschachteln weit verbreitet. Als Originalitätsverschluß weisen Zigarettenpackungen in aller Regel eine geschlossene Zellophanumhüllung auf, die zugleich der Aromakonservierung dient. Ein Originalitätsmerkmal von Zigarettenpackungen ist auch die Banderole, die über Schwenkdeckel und Faltschachtelrumpf geklebt ist.
