Ein Einbauherd 1 mit einer angedeuteten Back- und Bratofenmuffel 2 sowie mit einer aus einem Glasscheibenpaket 3 bestehenden Tür 4 zum Verschließen der Ofenmuffel 2 und einer oberhalb der Tür befindlichen Schalterblende 5, ist unterhalb einer sog. Arbeitsplatte 6 einer nicht dargestellten Einbauküche angeordnet. Oberhalb der Ofenmuffel 2 ist im Herdgehäuse ein Sauggebläse 7 zum Ansaugen von Kühlluft über die Frontseite des Herdes untergebracht. Die Ofenmuffeltür 4 hat an ihrer Unterkante Luftzutrittsöffnungen 8 und an ihrer Oberkante Luftaustrittsöffnungen 9. Die Schalterblende 5 bzw. der dahinter befindliche Schalterraum 5' haben im oberen Bereich Kaltluftansaugöffnungen 10. Durch die angesaugte Kühlluft wird zunächst die Ofenmuffeltür 4 und zwar der Zwischenraum 3' zwischen den beiden Scheiben des Glasscheibenpaketes 3 sowie die Schalterblende 5 (Schalterrahmen) durchströmt. Danach vereinigen sich beide Kühlluftströmungen zu einem Abluftstrom, der durch das Sauggebläse 7 über Abluftaustrittsöffnungen 11 in der Arbeitsplatte 6 senkrecht nach oben ausgestoßen wird. Im Abluftweg sind entsprechende Luftleit- bzw. Luftströmungsmittel vorgesehen. Wie Fig. 2 zeigt, sind die Abluftausstrittöffnungen 11' im rückwärtigen Abschlußteil 12' eines zum Einbauherd 1 gehörenden Kochfeldes 12 (Kochmulde) vorgesehen.
