Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gesichtsschutz für Automobilfahrer und besteht darin, daß
an einem gegebenenfalls als Schutzbrille ausgebildeten oder mit einer solchen verbindbaren
Stirnschild ein der Gesichtsform angepaßter, zusammenfaltbarer und visierartig auf-
und abklappbarer, aus luftdurchlässigem, staubfangendem Stoff bestehender Schutzschirm

Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht nur ein Ausführungsbeispiel, denn man kann die Form
der Ausführung verschieden wählen. So kann die Vorrichtung z. B. auch mit einer Mütze
in Verbindung gebracht werden. Die beweglichen Teile des Gesichtsschutzes lassen sich
wie bei einem Helmvisier zusammenschieben und so übereinanderlegen. Die Hauptsache
ist, daß an einem Stirnschild a, welches vorteilhaft zugleich als Schutzbrille ausgebildet
wird, ein der unteren Gesichtsform angepaßter Schutzschirm δ visierartig auf- und abklappbar
angeordnet ist. Der Schutzschirm b besteht aus einem Stoff, welcher die Atmung nicht
beeinträchtigt, den Staub aber nicht hindurchdringen läßt. Derselbe schließt dicht an das
Stirnschild α an und ist hier befestigt. Hochgeklappt legt sich der Schutzschirm in Falten
an das Stirnschild bzw. an die Schutzbrillenunterkante an, während er heruntergezogen
das untere Gesicht vollkommen umschließt, so daß nach Bedarf auch die Ohren mit eingeschlossen
werden können. Durch Drahtbügel o. dgl. wird die glatte Form in aßen

Schild α angeordnet sein, damit man auch vorhandene gewöhnliche Brillen durch einfaches
Einstecken in den Schild α anbringen kann. Es kann aber auch der Schutzschirm b
das ganze Gesicht bedecken; dann sitzt Schild a
