Das Ausdehnungsglied 4 des Temperaturbegrenzers 5 besteht aus einem Quarzglasrohr 7, in welchem ein NiCr Fühldraht 8 untergebracht ist. Der Fühldraht 8 ist mit einer im Gehäuse 9 des Temperaturbegrenzers 5 befindlichen Blattfeder 10 verbunden. Die Blattfeder 10 ist in einem Isolierblock 11 eingespannt und ist unter Vorspannung mit dem Fühldraht 8 verbunden. Im freien Auslenkungsende 12 der Blattfeder 10 ist ein Isolierzapfen 13 gehaltert, der mit einem den Stromkreis zum Heizelement 3 beherrschenden Schnappfederschalter 14 gekoppelt ist.
