Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
dargestellt. The invention relates to a method for recording landscape images by means of a drawing apparatus consisting essentially of two mirrors. Compared to the previously known methods, the method according to the present invention consists in that a transparent drawing sheet (gelatine or mica flakes) is placed on the image mirror to be provided with the drawing, or that, if necessary, the image mirror itself, if for the same a material on which to be drawn can, such as B. mica, is used, serves as a drawing surface.
• An apparatus suitable for carrying out this process and based on the principle of double reflection, which is known per se, is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing.
The object mirror α is connected to the wooden frame of the image mirror b by handlebars c and d in such a way that the two mirrors can be set at any angle to one another and held in the desired position by pressure screws or the like.
When using the device, the image mirror is placed on your knees, on the floor or on a table. The adjustment of the two mirrors to one another takes place in such a way that the image ο 1 u 1 created by the object to be represented 0 u in the mirror α creates an image ο 2 u 2 in the mirror b , which, seen from e , is an image on this mirror surface ο 3 u 3 can be traced. To do this, a transparent sheet of drawing (gelatine or mica flakes) is placed on the picture mirror. Of course, as already mentioned, a reflective material could also be used as the image mirror, on which one can draw at the same time, e.g. B. a mica sheet 0. Like., Can be used.
To be able to draw close objects despite the steep angle of both mirrors to each other, to enable a comparison of object and image, can be considered as Object mirror a transparent reflective glass plate can be used.
