Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Futtervorrichtung, auch Heuraufe genannt, zum Einsatz in Pferdeställen, aber auch in anderen Ställen, in denen Tiere gehalten werden, die Heu oder ähnliches Futter fressen. Die Vorrichtung besteht aus zwei Elementen, die an der Unterseite durch ein Scharnier verbunden sind. In die Seitenwand eingelassen ist ein durchlässiges Element, vorzugsweise aus Gitterstäben bestehend. Das Futterhalteelement ist an der Stallaußenseite davor angebracht und vorzugsweise an der Oberseite durch einen variablen Feststellhebel mit dem eingelassenen Element verbunden. An das Futterhalteelement ist dabei ein Seil angebracht, welches mit einer an dem eingelassenen Element befestigten Rolle verbunden ist. An dem anderen Ende des Seils sind Gewichte befestigt, die sich in einer ebenfalls eingelassenen Ummantelung befinden.The invention relates to a feeding device, also called a hay rack, for use in horse stables, but also in other stables in which animals are kept that eat hay or similar feed. Mittels einer Heuraufe soll verhindert werden, dass das Futter im Stall verteilt wird. Neben Heuraufen für die Verwendung im Stall werden auch Heuraufen für die Weide verwendet. Die bekannten Heuraufen sind feste Einrichtungen, die an der Seitenwand des Stalles angebracht werden. Die bisher bekannten Heuraufen haben alle gemeinsam, dass sie aus starren Körben oder ähnlichem bestehen, die innen im Stall befestigt werden. Die Heuraufen bestehen zumeist aus Gitterkonstruktionen und sind teilweise offen. Die Gitterkonstruktionen haben den Nachteil, dass durch sie eine Verletzungsgefahr für das im Stall befindliche Tier besteht. Nach der Nahrungsaufnahme verbleiben die Raufen als Fremdkörper im Stall, so dass es zu Verletzungen kommt, wenn das Tier sich hinlegt, wälzt oder sich anderweitig im Stall bewegt. Weiterhin ist der Arbeitsaufwand vor allem in Stallanlagen mit einer größeren Anzahl von Ställen beträchtlich, da derjenige, der die Tiere füttert, jeden Stall öffnen muss, um die jeweilige Ration Futter in die Raufe zu legen.A hay rack is used to prevent the feed from being spread around the stable.
