Ball game

The invention relates to a ball game with a playing field delimited by sidelines and goal lines, in which a goal is arranged in the middle area of each goal line, and with two optically different groups of playing figures and a game ball.

Such ball games as parlor games are known, for example, as football games with movable playing figures and a ball. In such a known ball game, playing figures are moved on rods in order to ultimately move the ball into a goal. In another embodiment, a leg is mechanically moved by pressing on the head of a mobile playing figure in order to move the ball across the playing field. It is also known to move a ball across the playing field by snapping your fingers.

In all of these forms of ball games, the players need a certain amount of skill, practice and dexterity to play the ball successfully.

The invention is based on the object of providing a ball game of the type mentioned at the beginning, with which the movement of the ball itself can be carried out in a simple manner and the game can be played essentially on the basis of strategic considerations and luck with the dice.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1. It is provided that the playing field has a plurality of interconnected and intersecting move lines, which are distributed mirror-symmetrically with respect to two halves of the game and partially continue into the goals, crossing the goal lines, that the playing figures are designed as game pieces that can be moved over the move lines and the game ball is designed as an action piece that can be detachably coupled to the game pieces and moved with them, and that one or more game dice are also present for determining a move distance.

With these measures, the game ball in the form of the action piece and the game pieces, possibly with the game ball, can be easily moved on the playing field along the move lines towards the goal depending on the numbers rolled and mental decision-making processes.

The example can in principle be designed according to various well-known real ball games, such as handball, hockey or basketball (where the basket represents the "goal"). An advantageous design consists, for example, in that the playing field is divided into a central

line is divided into two equal halves and each group comprises a maximum of eleven game pieces and that the playing field is divided into a plurality of polygonal adjacent sub-areas, the sides of which form the or part of the movement lines and the corner points of which form movement points for the game pieces and/or the action piece.

The decision options for moving the ball are expanded by the fact that the movement points are also connected by diagonal lines, which form further movement lines.

An advantageous design for dividing the playing field and moving the ball is that the partial areas are square or rectangular.

If it is intended that pull lines also extend over the sidelines and/or the goal lines, various out situations can also be simulated.

The handling is facilitated by the fact that the game pieces and the action piece have a receiving section and an adapted counter-receiving section for coupling together, with which they can be plugged into one another or magnetically fixed to one another.

The measures that contribute to simple, convenient handling are that the action stone is designed as a foot part that can be moved on the playing field and that has a protruding pin as a counter-receiving section on an upper side that is or will be turned away from the playing field.

and that the game pieces have, on their underside facing or to be faced towards the playing field, a flat base surface in which a recess adapted to the peg is formed.

A further advantageous embodiment results from the fact that the game pieces are provided with a detachably attached lower part on which the receiving section is formed. Simple connection options include the lower part being locked or screwed onto the game piece.

A further game variation is made possible by the fact that a marking element that can be detachably attached to the game pieces is provided to identify a player who has been warned, and by the fact that some of the move points formed by intersection points of the move lines are specially marked as warning circles.

The invention is explained in more detail below using exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawings.

Fig. 1A to 1D show various representations of a first embodiment of a game piece 14 and an action piece 17 that can be coupled to the game piece 14, wherein a receiving section 16 in the form of a recess in a lower base surface 15 is pushed onto a counter-receiving section 19 on the upper side of a flat foot part 17.1 of the action piece 17. The game piece 14 is, for example, essentially conical or truncated cone-shaped, while the action piece 17 has a circular disk-shaped foot part 17.1 with the cone-shaped counter-receiving section 19 arranged concentrically thereon, which can be easily detachably inserted into the recess 16 concentrically made in the base surface 15 of the game piece 14. Both the underside of the action piece 17 and the base surface 15 are advantageously flat, so that they stand well on the playing field 1 shown in Fig. 3 and can be easily moved on it. The foot part 17.1 of the action piece 17 is advantageously larger in diameter than the base surface 15 of the playing piece 14, so that it

is clearly visible with the game piece 14 on top. For the game, for example a football game, the action piece 1 7 serves as a game ball, so that only one action piece

17 need not be provided, but several action pieces 17 can also be present as replacement balls. On the other hand, there are two different groups of game pieces 14 corresponding to the number of players in each team, whereby replacement game pieces 14 can also be present for each team. The two groups of game pieces 14 can be distinguished by different colors or shapes or by suitable labeling or numbering.

Fig. 1D also shows a marking element 20 that can be detachably attached to a game piece 14, e.g. a yellow ring that can be placed on the conical game piece 14 from above, with which a warning to a player can be indicated. Fig. 1E shows a dice 13 that is used by the participants of the parlor game and serves to determine the distance of the game pieces 14 to move.

Fig. 2 shows an alternative design of the game pieces 14, which symbolize the human design of the players. The distinction can be made, for example, by different jersey colors and/or numbers, whereby each team can also be numbered according to a real football team. In this embodiment, a base-like lower part 21 can be attached to the underside of the game pieces 14 in a detachable manner, for example by locking using locking hooks 18.2 on the underside of the game pieces 14 and locking shoulders in the lower part 21. In Fig. 3, the playing field 1 is shown in more detail, with a detail X of the playing field being shown in more detail. As an example, the playing field 1 is a football field, for example on a plate-shaped or flexible support with two equal playing halves 6, 7 divided from each other by a center line 5. In each playing half there is a 16-meter space and a 5-meter space corresponding to a real football playing field. The rectangular playing field is bordered on its long sides by two long side lines 2 and on its narrow sides by two goal lines 3. In a central area of the goal lines 3, the goals 4 are demarcated on the outside. The center circle 8 is drawn in the middle of the playing field 1.

As a special feature, the playing field is divided into a large number of, for example, square or rectangular partial areas 9 with respective partial area sides 9.1. The partial areas 9 are distributed equally on both halves of the game, mirror-symmetrically to one another. The intersection points of the partial areas 9 result in movement points on which the playing figures 14 can be positioned with or without the action piece 17 or the action piece 17 alone. The distance between these movement points 11 is chosen to be large enough relative to the base area 16 of the playing pieces 14 and the foot part 17.1 of the action piece 17 that two playing pieces 14 or the action piece 17 and one playing piece 14 can easily be positioned on adjacent movement points 11. The partial area sides 9.1 form movement lines for the movement pieces 14 and the action piece 17, with the movement distance being determined by the number rolled according to the movement points 11.

Further movement lines are formed by diagonal lines 10 between the corner points or movement points of the partial areas 9. The diagonal lines 10 and the movement lines running parallel to the goal lines 3 are extended beyond the side lines 2 in order to represent out-of-bounds situations in which the action piece 17 is moved outwards beyond the side lines 2. The movement lines parallel to the side lines 2, as well as the relevant sections of the diagonal lines 10, are extended beyond the goal lines 3 in order to be able to represent out-of-bounds situations there too, namely goal-out situations. Several movement points 11 in each half of the game 6, 7 can be specially marked as position circles 12 in order to represent a position in which a player is cautioned and provided with the marking element 20.

A game piece 14 placed on the action piece 17 symbolizes a player leading the ball. The ball can be captured if the participant leading the opposing players rolls a number with which his game piece 14 can take the relevant move point. The game rules specify further move criteria. The structure described enables the game pieces 14 and the action piece 17 to be easily moved, and the action piece 17 to be easily taken over by another game piece 14. The handling and operation for playing the game are simple and convenient, and a visually clear design is also achieved.

Claims (11)

1. Ball game with a playing field ( 1 ) delimited by sidelines ( 2 ) and goal lines ( 3 ), in which a goal ( 4 ) is arranged in the middle area of each goal line ( 3 ), and with two optically different groups of playing figures and a game ball, characterized in that
that the playing field ( 1 ) has a plurality of interconnected and intersecting pull lines ( 9.1 , 10 ) which are distributed in mirror symmetry with respect to two halves of the playing field ( 6 , 7 ) and partially continue into the goals ( 4 ) crossing the goal lines ( 3 ),
that the playing pieces are designed as game pieces ( 14 ) that can be moved along the movement lines ( 9.1 , 10 ) and the game ball is designed as an action piece ( 17 ) that can be detachably coupled to the game pieces ( 14 ) and moved with them, and that one or more game dice ( 13 ) are also provided for determining the distance of a move. 2. Ball game according to claim 1, characterized in
that, like a football match, the playing field ( 1 ) is divided by a center line ( 5 ) into two equal halves ( 6 , 7 ) and each group comprises a maximum of eleven playing pieces ( 14 ) and
that the playing field ( 1 ) is divided into a plurality of polygonal adjoining partial areas ( 9 ), the partial area sides ( 9.1 ) of which form the or part of the movement lines and whose corner points form movement points ( 11 ) for the playing pieces ( 14 ) and/or the action piece ( 17 ). 3. Ball game according to claim 2, characterized in that the pulling points ( 11 ) are also connected by means of diagonal lines ( 10 ) which form further pulling lines. 4. Ball game according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the partial surfaces ( 9 ) are square or rectangular. 5. Ball game according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that pulling lines ( 9.1 , 10 ) also extend over the side lines ( 2 ) and/or the goal lines ( 3 ). 6. Ball game according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the game pieces ( 14 ) and the action piece ( 17 ) have a receiving section ( 16 ) and a counter-receiving section ( 19 ) adapted thereto for coupling them together, with which they can be plugged into one another or magnetically fixed to one another. 7. Ball game according to claim 6, characterized in
that the action stone ( 17 ) is designed as a foot part which can be moved on the playing field ( 1 ) and which has a protruding pin as a counter-receiving section ( 19 ) from an upper side facing away from the playing field ( 1 ) or to be faced away from it, and
that the game pieces ( 14 ) have a flat base surface ( 15 ) on their underside facing or to be faced towards the playing field ( 1 ), in which a recess adapted to the pin is formed. 8. Ball game according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the game pieces ( 14 ) are provided with a lower part ( 21 ) detachably attached thereto, on which the receiving section ( 16 ) is formed. 9. Ball game according to claim 8, characterized in that the lower part ( 21 ) is locked or screwed to the game piece ( 14 ). 10. Ball game according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a marking element ( 20 ) which can be removably attached to the game pieces ( 14 ) is provided for identifying a player who has been warned. 11. Ball game according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that some of the pulling points formed by intersection points of the pulling lines ( 9.1 , 10 ) are specially marked as warning circles ( 12 ).
