Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zangenkörper mit Gewindestabgewerbe.The invention relates to a pliers body with threaded rod joint.

Zangenkörper weisen üblicherweise längsverstelibare Gewerbe auf, mit dem Zweck, auf größenunterschiedliche Objekte eingestellt werden zu können. Die Einstellung erfolgt meist sprungfix mittels Rastlöchern oder -rillen. Gewerbe mit Gewindestab erlauben dagegen eine kontinuierliche Größeneinstellung. Derartige Gewinde sind mit zwei parallel verlaufenden Verbindungsstegen ausgestattet, welche den Zangenkopf mit dem Griffschenkel verbinden. Durch den zum zu greifenden Objekt hin gelegenen Verbindungssteg, der meist einige mm breit ist, verlagert sich der Drehpunkt entsprechend der Verbindungsstegbreite zum Griff hin, mit dem Nachteil, daß der Drehpunkt nicht direkt unterhalb eines zu greifenden Objektes liegt, sondern zum Griff hin verlagert ist. Dadurch tritt kein erwünschter Selbstklemmeffekt ein, mit der Folge, daß bei hohem Drehmoment, insbesondere bei glatten Zangenbacken, die Zange um das zu greifende Objekt herumrutscht.Pliers bodies usually have joints that can be adjusted lengthwise so that they can be adjusted to objects of different sizes.
