Abstract

The extinguisher for cigarettes has an elongated tubular upright (1) made of a heat resistant material to receive and extinguish the cigarette butts. The lower end of the tube is shouldered to a larger diameter (1.1) to form a base. The bottom of the tube can be open with a closure membrane (2) extending across it and retained in place by a snap ring.

Eine ähnliche Löschvorrichtung ist bekannt, sie ist in Sacklochform ausgebildet, in die, die brennende Zigarettenkippe hineingestellt wird und wo dann die Glut wegen Sauerstoffmangel erlischt. Der Erfindungsgegenstand beseitigt diese Mängel in dem er rohrförmig mit zwei Öffnungen ausgebildet ist und wo eine Öffnung mit einer elastischen Membrane oder mit einer Klappe oder mit einem Schieber verschlossen ist und einer freien, trichterförmigen Öffnung, in die, die brennenden Zigarettenkippen hineingesteckt werden. Der Erfindungsgegenstand wird so aufgestellt dass seine verschlossene Öffnung zu dem Kippensammelbehälter abschließt, wodurch gesichert wird, dass keine Glutoder Teile davon in den Sammelbehälter fallen. Die Glutlöschvorrichtung ist in einem Teilabschnitt rohrförmig, ( Fig.1) 1, und besitzt 2 Öffnungen 1.1 + 1.2, von denen die Öffnung 1.1 mit einer Membrane 2, aus elastischem Material verschlossen ist und die in ihrem Zentrum bis nahe zu ihrem äußeren Rand mehrmals durchschnitten ist ( Fig.2 ) 2.1, die dadurch entstandenen, elastischen Membranzungen 2.2, verschließen die Öffnung nahezu luftdicht. Die gegenüber liegende Öffnung 1.2, ist trichterförmig aufgeweitet und in sie werden die brennenden Zigarettenkippen ( Fig. 1) 5, hineingeschoben. Ist das Rohr leer oder wurde entleert, fällt die erste Kippe bis zur Membrane 2, hinein und ihre Glut erstickt durch Sauerstoffmangel. Der rohrförmige Abschnitt 1, ist so lang, dass mindestens 3 Kippen hinein passen ( Fig. 1 ), die zweite Kippe fällt so weit in das Rohr 1, bis sie auf der ersten Kippe aufliegt und ihre Glut erstickt ebenfalls und wenn die dritte Kippe hinein geschoben wird und sie auf der zweiten aufsitzt werden die ersten zwei Kippen weitergeschoben und die erste Kippe verdrängt die elastisch nachgebenden Membranzungen ( Fig.2 ) 2.2, und wird von diesen reibschlüssig geklemmt bis die Kippe in ihrer ganzen Länge die Membranzungen passiert haben, dann fällt sie in den Ascher ( Sammelbehälter, Fig.3) 4.The ember extinguisher is tubular in one section (Fig.1) 1, and has 2 openings 1.1 + 1.2, of which opening 1.1 is closed with a membrane 2 made of elastic material and which is cut through several times in its center up to its outer edge (Fig.2) 2.1, the elastic membrane tongues 2.2 created in this way seal the opening almost airtight. Claims

1. Ember extinguishing device, characterized in that it is tubular in the largest section of its length ( Fig. 1) 1, and is made of a heat-resistant material.

2. Ember extinguishing device according to claim 1 , characterized in that it is widened at one end ( Fig. 1) 1.1 , like a flange, so that a stepped bore is formed which is larger in diameter than the cross-sectional diameter of the tubular section 1 .

3. Ember extinguishing device according to claim 2, characterized in that it is closed at the opening ( Fig. 1)1.1 with an elastic membrane ( Fig. 1 + 2) 2 , which in its diameter is as large as the larger diameter of the stepped bore 1.1 into which it is inserted in a form-fitting manner.

4. Membrane ( Fig. 2) 2 , according to claim 3, characterized in that it is held in the stepped bore 1.1 by a clamping ring ( Fig. 1 + 2) 3 .

5. Membrane according to claim 3 + 4, characterized in that it is made of a heat-resistant material.

6. Membrane ( Fig. 1 + 2) 2 , according to claim 2, characterized in that it is cut several times from its center to close to its outer edge ( Fig. 2) 2.1 and thus forms several elastic tongues ( Fig. 2) 2.2 .

7. Ember extinguishing device according to claim 1, characterized in that it is widened in a funnel shape at its opening ( Fig. 1) 1.2 .
