Abstract

The inline skate blocking system has a braking block (1) in which the skate intermediate area underneath the carrying tracks has bands (4) which are removable from the skate. The blocking bands prevent the skate from rolling. The fixing bands are attached at two ends (2) via a strap or hook and eye fastening. The number of bands can be altered and they are fixed at fixing points (3).

™ Fig. 1 shows an inliner with a blocking system installed. The blocking blocks (1) are

held in the spaces between the rollers by the belt system (4). The contact pressure of the blocking blocks ensures that the rollers are blocked with force. The blocking blocks (1) shown in the example are plastic molded parts made of elastomer material with a high coefficient of friction.

The intersection points of the belt system are either sewn, glued or riveted.

The ends of the straps (2) are equipped with buckles or Velcro fasteners which allow a quick

In Fig. 2 an embodiment is shown which uses other shapes of the blocking blocks (5), (6).

The blocking blocks are attached to the belt system via a central hole in the blocking block and a corresponding bolt connection to the belt (3).

Fig. 3 shows an alternative to the embodiments shown in Fig. 1 - 2. The same parts are provided with the same reference numerals. The difference to the previously discussed versions is that a different geometry of the belt system is shown.

Fig. 4 shows a further variant of the designs described in Fig. 1-2 and Fig. 3. Identical parts are provided with the same reference symbols. This variant shows that the distances between the roller spaces can be changed. For this purpose, the transverse cross member (8) is designed as a plastic band with corresponding fastening nipples. The belts (4) which carry the blocking blocks are then attached to this at the appropriate point.

Claims (5)

1. Blocking system for the temporary static blocking of all rollers on an inline skate ( Fig. 1), characterized in that - that the wheels are blocked by suitably shaped brake blocks ( 1 ) in the spaces between the wheels below the support rail, which are joined together by straps or bands ( 4 ) to form a system that is removable from the inline skate and not permanently mounted. 2. according to claim 1, characterized in that the blocking blocks ( 1 ) are adapted in shape and number to the spaces between the rollers. 3. according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the blocking blocks ( 1 ) are held in the roller spaces ( 4 ) by means of belts or bands and thus block the rollers. 4. according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the fastening straps or devices have two ends ( 2 ) which are connected by means of a buckle or a Velcro fastener. 5. according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the geometry and number of bands ( 4 ) can be varied.
