Claims

1. Splash guard for a chopping block ( 2 ) for cutting or chopping meat, comprising a protective wall ( 7 , 8 ) surrounding the chopping block ( 2 ) at the sides and rear, which projects both upwards over the chopping block surface ( 9 ) and downwards and is removably supported and held in the position of use by at least one holding element on the chopping block ( 2 ).
