Um die Festigkeit besonders der keramischen Filtertüllen zu erhöhen, kann der Bund verstärkt oder ein massiver, fester Bund an der porösen Filterkerze angeordnet oder auch eine Metallarmierung so verwendet werden, daß ein Filterrohr mittels einer Stange oder einem Metallrohr zwischen einen losflansch und einen festen Kopf mit Bund eingespannt wird.
