Escalator or moving walkway according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction nozzles ( 32 ) and suction end pipes ( 30 ) rest against the comb plate ( 10 ) under elastic prestress and, in the assembled state of the comb plate ( 10 ), a safety distance is provided between the underside ( 18 ) of the suction end pipes ( 30 ) and suction nozzles ( 32 ) and the surface ( 26 ) of the escalator or moving walkway.
