Abstract

A detachable serviette(10) is attached to the outer side of the bag parallel to one of the side walls(3). The serviette is attached by perforations(9) or by a separable adhesive connection. The bag is made of greaseproof paper, with the side walls(2,3) interconnected on one edge(4) by folding and on an adjacent edge(5) by gluing or sealing. On the glued or sealed edge the side wall(2) is folded over and the other side wall is glued or sealed behind the fold. The serviette is attached to the glued or sealed edge.

The invention relates to a bag having two side walls connected to each other at at least two edges and an opening.

Such a bag is known, for example, from DE 86 30 398 Ul. The bag described therein is made of paper and is used for administering baked goods, fried meat products or the like. a much stiffer paper than the folding part and thus obtains a tray-like stiffness.

The problem with this type of packaging is that when the food is consumed, which is usually done while standing or walking, hands often become dirty. Napkins provided when the food is sold can only be held in the hand with difficulty until the end of the consumption process, as both hands are often needed to eat. If the napkins are put in a pocket, there is a risk that the pocket will become dirty when the napkin is taken out.

The object of the invention is therefore to find a solution to this problem that can be implemented simply and cost-effectively.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that on the outside of the bag
a napkin that can be removed from the bag is attached parallel to one of the side walls.

This means that the napkin can remain on the outside of the bag until the end of the consumption process, so that there is no risk of losing it or soiling it.
Once the consumption process is finished, the napkin can be removed and used.

A further development of the invention consists in that the napkin is perforated
or a removable adhesive bond.

The perforation facilitates the tearing process and results in a straight tear edge, the removable adhesive connection allows the napkin to be removed from the bag.

According to the invention, the bag consists of a surface element, the side walls being connected to one another at one edge by folding and at an adjacent edge by gluing or sealing.

This results in a bag with a rectangular or square outer shape, into whose opening, formed by the adjacent edges that are not connected to each other, a food item to be consumed can be inserted.

Preferably, one of the side walls is folded over at the glued or sealed edge and the other side wall is glued or sealed behind the fold.

This improves the quality of the connection.

It is also advisable that the napkin is attached to the glued or sealed edge.

This means that the side walls can be connected and the napkin can be attached in one operation.

It is within the scope of the invention that the bag is made of grease-repellent paper.

Greaseproof paper is suitable for packaging many foods and can be easily disposed of.

A further development of the invention consists in that one of the side walls is made of a significantly stiffer material than the other.

This ensures that the food placed in the bag is better protected from damage and can be held better.

The advantages of the invention essentially consist in the fact that the bag is enhanced by the inclusion of a napkin attached to it, which represents an additional service, and this in a simple manner so that the bag can still be made available at low cost.

A square bag 1 is produced from a rectangular sheet of grease-resistant paper by folding it once in the transverse direction and folding over one side wall 2 and gluing or sealing (if necessary, welding) the other side wall 3 behind the fold, which bag has two side walls 2, 3 connected to one another at two adjacent edges 4, 5 and whose two other, unconnected edges 6, 7 form an opening 8 for inserting a food item.

Alternatively, the side walls 2, 3 can be connected to each other at three edges, whereby the opening 8 is only formed by one edge.

Behind the fold of one side wall 2 and parallel to the outside of the other side wall 3, a napkin 10 is preferably also attached by gluing or sealing behind the fold, which can be separated along a perforation 9 or by a detachable adhesive connection.

This napkin 10 can be separated and used as needed. It can be disposed of with the bag 1.

It may be expedient for one of the side walls 2, 3 to be made of a substantially stiffer material than the other side wall 2, 3, whereby the contents of the bag 1 are better protected against deformation. In addition, the bag 1 can be held better in the hand without having to exert pressure on the contents.

If the side walls 2, 3 are provided with a print, a print can be hidden behind the napkin 1, which can only be seen when the napkin 1 is removed and thus creates a surprise effect.

Bag having two side walls connected to one another at at least two edges and an opening, characterized in that a removable napkin ( 10 ) is attached to the outside of the bag ( 1 ) parallel to one of the side walls ( 3 ). 2. Bag according to claim 1, characterized in that the napkin ( 10 ) is removable by means of a perforation ( 9 ) or a detachable adhesive. 3. Bag according to claim 1, characterized in that the bag ( 1 ) consists of a sheet, the side walls ( 2 , 3 ) being connected to one another at one edge ( 4 ) by folding and at an adjacent edge ( 5 ) by gluing or sealing. 4. Bag according to claim 3, characterized in that one of the side walls ( 2 ) is folded over at the glued or sealed edge ( 5 ) and the other side wall ( 3 ) is glued or sealed behind the fold. 5. Bag according to claim 3, characterized in that the napkin ( 10 ) is attached to the glued or sealed edge ( 5 ). 6. Bag according to claim 1, characterized in that the bag ( 1 ) consists of grease-repellent paper. 7. Bag according to claim 1, characterized in that one of the side walls ( 2 , 3 ) consists of a significantly stiffer material than the other.
