Das Ventil besteht im wesentlichen aus einem hohlen Kautschukkörper a, welcher an der Zulaufstelle b frei liegt, aber die Ablaufstelle c deckt. Letztere besteht aus einer Anzahl kleiner Löcher, welche die Zulaufstelle ganz umgeben. Das Innere des Balles α ist durch eine oder mehrere freie Oeffhungen d des eingesetzten Knopfes mit der Zuleitung b verbunden.
