Ein derartiges Radiallager ist aus Fig. 2 der DE 39 12 856 A1 vorbekannt. Dabei sind die Taschen des Käfigs umlaufend in einer Ebene positioniert, so daß sich der Rollenkranz einseitig an dem Außenringbord oder dem Innenringbord anlegen an. Nun kann aber der Fall eintreten, daß beispielsweise durch eine Wellendurchbiegung oder andere Einflüsse die Wälzkörper in der Lastzone in eine bestimmte Richtung gezwungen werden und dabei die Wälzkörper in der entlasteten Zone über den Käfig in dieselbe Richtung wandern müssen. Verläßt der betreffende Wälzkörper die Lastzone, wandert der Käfig wieder in die andere Richtung. Mit anderen Worten, der Wälzkörperkranz läuft einseitig an, löst sich wieder, läuft wieder an und so weiter. Das heißt, es entsteht durch die Schraubwirkung ein pulsierendes umlaufendes Reibmoment. Dieses Reibmo ment stellt eine zusätzliche Verlustquelle im Lager dar. Such a radial bearing is previously known from FIG. 2 of DE 39 12 856 A1.
