Abstract

The aircraft jet protection consists of a ring with a wire net of specified mesh, which has a vaulted shape for the bird repulsion. The net shape is pref. convex or conical, pointing in the flight direction. The protection is exchangeable and requires little maintenance. It can be easily fitted to existing aircraft, irrespective of the jet engine size.

Description

This invention relates to aircraft turbines on all types of aircraft in civil and military aviation.

Air jet turbines come in various types as aircraft propulsion on various types of aircraft.

There is currently no device that could crash a turbine plane prevented by flying animals.

There are none in German-speaking countries and in European patent systems such invention. The jet engines / turbines suck in the flying animals and cause crashes. In the past few years, very often Turbine aircraft crashes caused by flying animals announced in all media.

A protective device ( Fig. 1/2/3/4) in front of the turbines could prevent falls!

The present invention relates to a protective device consisting of a ring ( Fig. 3/4/5/6) with a mesh of strong wire. The mesh fabric ( Fig. 5/6) should keep the flying animals and thus prevent suction.

This invention has only advantages. This is how these protective devices / Attach protective cages to every turbine aircraft at any time replace or retrofit (maintenance).

According to the invention, the protection is achieved in that the protective device in conical or convex raised form ( Fig. 1/2/3/4) prevents the flying animals from being sucked in and an aircraft crash is avoided. Another advantage lies in the fact that these ring sieves ( 2 ) with strong wire mesh ( Fig. 5) can be replaced and renewed at any time. Manufacturing is uncomplicated, simple and extremely economical, due to the simple structure and the simple fastening (optionally in three-point or four-point suspension [ Fig. 5/6]) by means of an eyelet ( 3 ) and tensioning hook ( 4 ).

The wire nets ( Fig. 1/2) should each be used with a skeleton ( Fig. 5/6) corresponding to the (selected) shape as stiffening / strengthening (to increase safety and durability). In the following, this invention is explained in more detail using an example with reference to the accompanying drawings ( Fig. 1 ... 9). Figs. 1 and 2 show the protection device according to the invention in side view, in suspension at wings. The mesh screens / wire mesh ( Fig. 1/2/3/4) are in a conical or convex shape ( Fig. 3/4), so that the flying animals are caught before the turbine enters and the attachments themselves provide sufficient resistance (durability, strength) .

So-called skeletons ( Fig. 5, 6) were considered as structural elements for strengthening and durability.

Attaching the protective attachments:
There should be an eyelet ( 3 ) on each turbine into which the ring hook ( 1 ) (or called the eyelet hook) is simply inserted and thus clamped. Then the clamping hooks ( 4 ), which are attached to the turbine, are stretched over the edge ( 2 ) of the ring ( Fig. 7, 8).

A subsequent attachment of the protective baskets / protective devices that Maintenance and renewal is therefore straightforward. This invention is inexpensive simple and important, so attaching these guards to all turbine aircraft in civil and military aviation should be enforced internationally!

Claims (5)

. . 25 mm).1. Protection device on aircraft turbines to prevent crashes by flying animals consisting of a ring with a wire mesh (Distance of bars / meshes 20... 25 mm). It was deliberately chosen a sublime shape so that the flying animals be repelled. A flat mesh fabric was deliberately avoided, because the suction would have held the animals on the flat tissue. In addition, the strength of the flat wire mesh would be strong impaired. On the contrary, the mesh would have deformed inwards, and there would be no success. 2.
