Abstract

A filter for filtering water has a permanent magnet and a magnet yoke, forming an aperture in which a magnetic field forms, and through which the water has to flow. The appts. includes also a mechanical-physical filter.

Description

B. 250 µm.There is often both dirt and suspended matter in the tap water as well as sands that cause damage when entering technical equipment can. For example, valves can become unusable if sand or other dirt particles get into the valve seat. It is therefore State of the art to arrange filter devices in the water inflow Retain these contaminants and suspended matter according to the task should. The mesh size of the filter element is usually the task accordingly. A filter with a small mesh size of e.g. B. 50-80 µm has a larger effective filter area in the interest of service life che as a relatively coarse filter with a mesh size of z. B. 250 microns.

However, no damage can be prevented with these methods, due to components dissolved in the water such as gypsum, lime and other substances in solution. This in Components dissolved in water can be filtered and damage is caused over time through precipitation and crystallization half of the fittings or water technology devices.

It is also known that limes and gypsum dissolved in the water are not crystallize out when they pass through a very strong magnetic field had to. Magnetic fields influence the orientation of the Ions dissolved in water with the result that over a length limes or gypsum dissolved in the water show, precipitate or deposit in crystalline form. This watch tion uses the invention presented here.

The aim is to prepare the water flowing into water technology devices in such a way that damage caused by suspended matter and by calcification or crystalline precipitation is largely prevented. Technically, the invention achieves the object by combining the features of a physical filter with that of a magnetic treatment of the water flowing through. The assembly is built according to Fig. 1: The inflow side ( 1 ) is equipped with a threaded connector that fits standard connections. Common is z. B. a thread deanschluß the width of 3/8 inches. There is also a thread on the outflow side ( 2 ), but this can be designed as an internal thread.

The inflowing water first passes through a gap which is formed between a ring magnet ( 4 ) and an internal yoke ( 5 ). There is a very strong magnetic field within the gap. The water then flows into a space that surrounds a cylindrical filter cartridge ( 6 ). From there, the water passes the filter, which z. B. from fine-mesh wire mesh with a mesh size of z. B. 80 microns best hen.

The advantage of the filter device presented according to the invention is in that both suspended matter are retained and in Components dissolved in water are prevented from precipitating out in crystalline form len.

Of course, other constructions than those described are also ons features possible, as long as the combination of a magnet water treatment with a close-meshed mechanin filter an assembly is realized.
