Abstract

The protection is afforded by a sheet (1) of tinted acrylic glass, which can be fixed to the inside of a side window pane (32) on a door of a car, in order to prevent the driver form being dazzled by reflections from a wing mirror (2). Die Erfindung betrifft einen Blendschutz 1 für den Seitenspiegel 2 eines Kraftfahrzeuges, der bei Nacht gegen die Scheinwerfer von nachfolgenden Fahrzeugen und am Tage gegen die Strahlen einer tiefstehenden Sonne od. dgl. schützt. Der Blendschutz 1 besteht aus einer etwa ellipsenförmigen getönten Acrylglasscheibe, die von innen in die Dichtung 31 der Seitenscheibe 32 der Fahrzeugtür 3 einschiebbar ist. In Fig. 3 ist die getönte Acrylglasscheibe 1 schattiert wiedergegeben. Das einfallende Licht wird von einer Lampe 4 dargestellt. Um das Einschieben der Acrylglasscheibe 1 in die Dichtung 31 der Seitenscheibe 32 zu erleichtern, hat die Acrylglasscheibe 1 eine einseitige Phase 11, die beispielsweise einen Winkel α von etwa 45° hat (Fig. 2).
