Gemäß vorliegender Erfindung wird nun die Herstellung von elektrischen Leitkörpern, die insbesondere als Dynamobürsten und dergl. allen Anforderungen genügen, in stets vollkommener Gleichmäßigkeit und in einfacher Weise dadurch erreicht, daß man die Metalle, aus welchen die betreffende Metalllegierung bestehen soll, in Pulverform verwendet. Ohne weitere Vorbereitung werden die verschiedenen Metallpulver, ζ. Β. Kupfer und Zink, oder Kupfer und Zinn, oder Kupfer, Zink und Zinn und dergl. mehr, innig mit Kohle vermengt, geformt und in einer indifferenten oder besser noch in einer reduzierenden Atmosphäre, z. B. in einer Wasserstoffatmosphäre, auf etwa 000° erhitzt, wobei sich die einzelnen Metallpulver miteinander legieren und mit dem eingeschlossenen Kohlenstoff eine äußerst gleichmäßige homogene Masse von metallischem Aussehen bilden. Eine besonders für Dynamobürsten sehr geeignete Mischung besteht beispielsweise aus 75 Teilen Kupfer, 20 Teilen Zinn und 5 Teilen Zink. Dieser Metallmischung wird je nach der verlangten Leitfähigkeit und Härte mehr oder weniger Graphit, beispielsweise 10 Prozent Graphit, zugesetzt, das Gemenge mit Wasser oder einem anderen Bindemittel innig durchknetet, in Formen gepreßt und alsdann in einer Wasserstoffatmosphäre bis zum Erweichen und Legieren der Metallpulver erhitzt.
