Die Neuerungen beziehen sich auf die Construction eines cylindrischen Ventilgehäuses, dessen Mittelaxe horizontal liegt, in welchem ein Druck- oder Saugventil angebracht ist, wobei das Ventilgehäuse zugleich den Ventilsitz bildet. Das Verschlufsventil kann hierbei ein Klappen-, Kugel- oder Tellerventil und aus jedem geeigneten Material hergestellt sein, sowie auch das Ventil in einem solchen Gehäuse mit oder ohne Anwendung von Federdruck arbeiten kann.
