Es sind Handschuhe bekannt, die aus dünnem, luft- und feuchtigkeitsdichtem Material bestehen und zum Durchführen von Arbeiten bestimmt sind, bei denen entweder die Hände vor Einwirkung der bearbeiteten Gegenstände oder Stoffe, z. Der letztere Fall kommt z. B. in der pharmazeutischen Industrie und bei der Montage halbleitender Vorrichtungen, z.B. Transistoren und Kristalldioden, vor.
