Abstract
The system has a hydraulic servo device (16) for producing a servo force reducing the required actuation force on a steering control, especially a steering wheel (7). The servo device has a servo motor (5) in the form of a hydrostatic motor unit and/or displacement unit mechanically connected to steered vehicle wheels (1) and at least one supply pump (10) as a hydraulic pressure source for operating the servo motor in one or other direction. The supply pump is a regulating pump for high frequency intermittent transport operation : An independent claim is also included for the use of a regulating pump with high frequency intermittent transport operation as a hydraulic pressure source in a steering system.
