Abstract

Valve (100), especially for use in extinguishing water pipe systems, comprises a valve housing (1) with an inlet connector (2) and an outlet connector (3), a valve housing cover (4)with a chamber (8) acting as a control pressure chamber for a perforated valve membrane, a connecting path (6) from the inlet connector to the outlet connector that leads through the chamber, a valve seat (10), and at least one externally operated release device (20) for relieving the pressure in the control pressure chamber to adjust the valve membrane into the open position. At least one further control valve is provided that is connected to the cavity and can be released locally or by remote control.
