Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine druckempfindliche Fläche eines mit einem Rechner verbundenen Bildschirms oder Displays, wobei die Fläche Felder darstellt, auf die ein Druck ausübbar ist, um die zum Feld gehörige Funktion des Rechnerprogramms auszulösen. Durch die Fläche des Bildschirms oder des Displays und damit auch die Felder, sind mindestens zwei unterschiedlich starke Drücke erfassbar, die unterschiedliche Funktionen des Programms beim selben Feld auslösen.
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine druckempfindliche Fläche eines mit einem Rechner
verbundenen Bildschirms oder Displays, wobei die Fläche Felder darstellt, auf
die ein Druck ausübbar ist, um die zum Feld gehörige Funktion des
Rechnerprogramms auszulösen.
Es sind druckempfindliche Bildschirme für Computer bekannt, die "touchscreen"
genannt werden. Diese "touchscreen" ersetzen die Funktion einer Maus, die
einen Pfeil auf dem Bildschirm bewegt und durch Betätigen einer Maustaste ein
Anklicken erzeugt. Auf dem "touchscreen" kann durch Antippen von Hand aber
nur eine Funktionsart erzeugt werden.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, die druckempfindliche Fläche eines Bildschirms so
zu verbessern, dass mehr als eine Funktion durch das Antippen von Hand
erreichbar ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass durch die Fläche des
Bildschirms oder des Displays und damit durch die Felder mindestens zwei
unterschiedlich starke Drücke erfassbar sind, die unterschiedliche Funktionen
des Programms beim selben Feld auslösen.
Dadurch, dass zwei oder mehr unterschiedlich starke Drücke durch die
Bildschirm- oder Displayoberfläche erfassbar sind, können unterschiedliche
Funktionen bei dem dazugehörigen Rechnerprogramm erreicht werden, so dass
der Bedienungskomfort und/oder die Bedienungsweise wesentlich verbessert
werden. Dies kann besonders vorteilhaft bei Programmen verwendet werden, die
eine hohe Anzahl von Feldern benötigen, wie bei einem chinesischen oder
japanischen Schreibprogramm.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist es, wenn ein leichter oder normal starker Druck eine
Normalfunktion und ein starker Druck ein Umschalten zur nächst tieferen oder
höheren Gruppe des Programms führt.
Von großem Vorteil ist auch, wenn durch die Fläche, bzw. Felder eine hohe
Anzahl unterschiedlicher Drücke erfaßbar und vom Rechner auswertbar sind.
Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden im folgenden näher beschrieben.
Die Fläche eines am Computer angeschlossenen Monitors oder Displays ist
punktuell, das heißt an den kleinsten Flächen einer Matrix druckempfindlich, so
dass bei einem Berühren dieser Kleinstflächen der angeschlossene Rechner ein
Signal erhält. Werden also eine oder mehrere benachbarte Kleinstflächen der
Oberfläche des Monitors oder des Displays von Hand, das heißt mit der
Fingerspitze berührt, so wird das Signal ausgelöst. Hierbei sind aber diese
Kleinstflächen so aufgebaut, dass sie die Fähigkeit besitzen, unterschiedlich
starke Drücke zu messen. Entsprechend der Stärke des Druckes, verändert sich
hierbei das Signal, das zum Rechner gelangt.
Somit führt ein leichtes Drücken einer oder mehrerer Kleinstflächen zu einem
anderen Signal als ein starkes Drücken. Ein leichtes Drücken kann
beispielsweise zu einer Normalfunktion des Rechnerprogramms in bezug auf das
auf dem Bildschirm oder dem Display dargestellten Feld führen und ein starkes
Drücken zu einem Umschalten zu einer nächsten bzw. anderen Untergruppe des
Programms.
Die Fläche(n), bzw. das Feld/die Felder können zum einen zwei unterschiedlich
starke Drücke voneinander unterscheiden. Alternativ können aber auch durch die
Fläche, bzw. Felder eine hohe Anzahl unterschiedlicher Drücke erfaßbar und
vom Rechner auswertbar sein. Damit ist eine einer analogen Funktion ähnliche
Funktion erreichbar.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist es hierbei, wenn das Rechnerprogramm bzw. die
Software lernfähig ist, was ein leichtes und ein starkes Drücken ist bzw. worin
hierbei die Unterschiede bestehen.
Claims (3)
1. Druckempfindliche Fläche eines mit einem Rechner verbundenen
Bildschirms oder Displays, wobei die Fläche Felder darstellt, auf die ein Druck
ausübbar ist, um die zum Feld gehörige Funktion des Rechnerprogramms
auszulösen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass durch die Fläche des
Bildschirms oder des Displays und damit durch die Felder mindestens zwei
unterschiedlich starke Drücke erfassbar sind, die unterschiedliche Funktionen
des Programms beim selben Feld auslösen.
2. Druckempfindliche Fläche nach Anspruch 1, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass ein leichter oder normal starker Druck eine
Normalfunktion und ein starker Druck ein Umschalten zur nächst tieferen oder
höheren Gruppe des Programms führen.
3. Druckempfindliche Fläche nach Anspruch 1, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass durch die Fläche, bzw. Felder eine hohe Anzahl
unterschiedlicher Drücke erfaßbar und vom Rechner auswertbar sind.
