Abstract
Η εφεύρεση αφορά σε μία ευέλικτη διαδικασία για τον καθαρμό ενός διαλύτη που αναστέλλει τον σχηματισμό ένυδρων ενώσεων κατά τη διάρκεια της επεξεργασίας του αερίου, και συγκεκριμένα της μονοαιθυλενογλυκόλης (MEG), όπου ο εν λόγω διαλύτης έχει σημείο βρασμού το οποίο είναι υψηλότερο από αυτό του νερού και, σε τουλάχιστον ένα χρονικό σημείο, αναμιγνύεται με νερό και άλατα. Η μέθοδος λειτουργεί διαφορετικά με την ίδια εγκατάσταση ανάλογα με την περιεκτικότητα σε άλατα της MEG που πρόκειται να υποβληθεί σε επεξεργασία. Η διαδικασία λειτουργεί σύμφωνα με τη λεγόμενη φάση του "reclaiming" (διαχωρισμός των αλάτων υπό κενό που ακολουθείται από απόσταξη υπό κενό), όταν η περιεκτικότητα σε άλατα υπερβαίνει το όριο καθίζησης, διαφορετικά η διαδικασία λειτουργεί στη φάση αναγέννησης (χωρίς διαχωρισμό των αλάτων και χωρίς λειτουργία υπό κενό). Πλεονεκτικά, η διάταξη πραγματοποιείται υπό τον έλεγχο ενός μέσου δοσολογίας των αλάτων.
