Abstract

A fold-out clasp having a longitudinal axis AA and comprising two rigid arms (10, 12) hinged together at one end about an axis BB that is perpendicular to axis AA, and a catch locking system for holding the two arms in the closed position. The locking system comprises a locking member positionable in first and second positions in which the clasp arms can be opened or are prevented from being opened, respectively, when the male (18) and female (20) portions are in the first position thereof.
