Abstract

An apparatus for processing streams from a fluid-type catalytic cracking unit, which comprises: a fluid-type catalytic cracking reactor for contacting the cracking catalyst with a hydrocarbon charge stream for cracking hydrocarbon products into gaseous hydrocarbon products, which they have a lower molecular weight, and deposit coke in the catalyst to provide coked catalyst, a product outlet for discharging said gaseous hydrocarbon products from said reactor; a regenerator for burning coke of said coked catalyst by contact with oxygen; a chimney gas outlet to discharge chimney gas from said regenerator; ....
