Abstract
El presente objeto en cuestión provee una alternativa segura para producir un importante intermedio útil para preparar el herbicida glufosinato, sin necesidad de componentes de cloro en el proceso de fabricación. En particular, se proporciona un proceso para preparar un alquiléster del ácido alquil fosfínico, que incluye el paso de alquilación del éster del ácido alquilfosfínico en un disolvente no polar en el mismo dispositivo que se usó para producir primero el éster del ácido alquilfosfínico, y sin aislar el éster del ácido alquilfosfínico antes de realizar el paso de alquilación. Más específicamente, se presenta un proceso para preparar butiléster del ácido metilfosfínico, mediante la alquilación del éster del ácido butilfosfínico en un disolvente no polar, en el mismo dispositivo que se usó anteriormente para producir primero el éster del ácido butilfosfínico y sin aislar el éster del ácido butilfosfónico antes de la alquilación.
