Abstract
La invención se refiere a la industria de la construcción, en particular a una geocelda reforzada y a un procedimiento para producir la misma. La geocelda reforzada está hecha de tiras poliméricas flexibles dispuestas en filas e interconectadas en un orden escalonado longitudinalmente para formar una estructura de celda tridimensional cuando se estira en la dirección normal a las superficies de las tiras. Las tiras están provistas de aberturas de drenaje y están reforzadas en una dirección longitudinal con hilos de refuerzo que consisten en al menos dos elementos fibrosos retorcidos a lo largo de toda la longitud de los mismos. De acuerdo con el procedimiento propuesto para producir una geocelda, se extruye un material polimérico fundido para producir un material de lámina, se depositan hilos de refuerzo retorcidos sobre el material de lámina, se calandra el material de lámina cuando se calienta a una temperatura de 120 a 200 °C para asegurar el prensado de los hilos de refuerzo en el material de lámina, se corta el material de lámina reforzado en láminas, se perforan las láminas para producir aberturas de drenaje y se cortan en tiras, y se interconectan las tiras en un orden escalonado para formar una estructura de celda tridimensional. El efecto técnico es una fiabilidad mejorada en cuanto a mantener los elementos de refuerzo en las tiras y una resistencia a la tracción mejorada de la geocelda frente a cargas de tensión y cizallamiento.
