Abstract
RESUMEN DE LA INVENCIÓN Se proporcionan métodos que facilitan la selección de una estructura de película para uso en un paquete. En un aspecto, un método para seleccionar una estructura de película para uso en un paquete comprende determinar una dirección de impacto crítica de un paquete mediante análisis de método elemental finito (FEM), en donde el paquete tiene un volumen predeterminado, una forma predeterminada y un material de relleno predeterminado; determinar una o más de las propiedades de tracción deseadas de una estructura de película para usarse en el paquete basándose en la dirección de impacto crítica, en donde una o más propiedades de tracción deseadas comprenden al menos una de tenacidad en la dirección de la máquina, tenacidad en la dirección transversal, alargamiento a la rotura en la dirección de la máquina, alargamiento a la rotura en la dirección transversal, tensión en la rotura en la dirección de la máquina y tensión en la rotura en la dirección transversal; y seleccionar una estructura de película basada en una o más propiedades de tracción deseadas.
