Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于线切割机床的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝。一种用于线切割机床的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝,包括金属丝(1),在金属丝的表面镀有金刚石粉末(2);金刚石粉末的厚度为1-4丝;金属丝可以是钢丝、不锈钢丝、钨钼丝、钼丝和黄铜丝。由于本发明采用在金属丝的表面镀上金刚石粉末,利用金刚石粉末的高硬度(HRC92-95°),无需在金属丝和工件间通以脉冲电流,只要通过该金属丝在线切割机床内的循环直线运动,配合合理的进刀量,就能实现对非导电体材料的切割,特别是也能完成对硬度(HRC87°以下)较高的非导电体材料的切割。由此,通过将表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝应用到线切割机床中,扩大了线切割机床的切割应用范围。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种线切割机床用的金属丝,尤其涉及一种用于线切割机床的可对非导电体材料进行切割的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝。
背景技术
目前,国内外线切割机床在进行线切割加工过程中,大多以黄铜丝、钼丝和钨钼丝等金属丝作为电极丝,在金属丝和工件间通以脉冲电流,使之产生放电蚀除而进行切割加工的。当放置工件的工作台在X、Y二轴方向上按一定的轨迹运动时,工件就被切割成所需要的形状。因而,以现有的线切割机床对金属材料进行切割应该没有什么问题,只要选择具有良好的耐蚀性、导电性、高熔点、高的抗拉强度和良好的直线性等特性的材料作为电极丝即可。但是,如果想以现有的线切割机床对非导电体材料(如人造晶体、宝石、玉石和玻璃等)进行切割,由于非导电体材料是不导电的,它与金属丝间不存在放电,也就无法以放电蚀除的方法对非导电体材料进行切割,因此,以现有的线切割机床对非导电体材料进行切割是无法实现的。
从目前了解的情况看,作为切割用的刀具有一些在其表面涂覆有金刚石粉末(又称钻石粉末),以金刚石粉末的高硬度(HRC92--95°)来增强切割的强度,同时对刀具本身起到一定的保护作用。但是,对于金属丝类则没有同类的涂覆产品,特别是应用在线切割机床上的金属丝就更没有。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题是提供一种用于线切割机床的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝,当将该金属丝用于线切割机床时,它能完成对非导电体材料的切割。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明在用于线切割机床的金属丝的表面采用已有的静电浸镀工艺镀上金刚石粉末(又称钻石粉末)。
为保证对不同的被切割体的切割要求,如切割强度和切割精度等,金刚石粉末的镀层厚度选择在1-4丝的范围内,同时用作金属丝的材料可以选择钢丝、不锈钢丝、钨钼丝、钼丝和黄铜丝。
由于采用在金属丝的表面镀上金刚石粉末,利用金刚石粉末的高硬度(HRC92--95°),无需在金属丝和工件间通以脉冲电流,只要通过该金属丝在线切割机床内的循环直线运动,配合合理的进刀量,就能实现对非导电体材料的切割,特别是也能完成对硬度(HRC87°以下)较高的非导电体材料的切割。由此,通过将表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝应用到线切割机床中,扩大了线切割机床的切割应用范围。

具体实施方式
图1和图2是本发明用于线切割机床的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝的示意图和侧视图。具体实施方式如下:
实施例1、金属丝1选用钢丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为2丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC78°的玉石进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
实施例2、金属丝1选用不锈钢丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为2丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC70°的玻璃进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
实施例3、金属丝1选用钼丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为2丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC82°的玉石进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
实施例4、金属丝1选用钢丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为3丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC78°的玉石进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
实施例5、金属丝1选用不锈钢丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为1丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC70°的玻璃进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
实施例6、金属丝1选用黄铜丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为2丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC70°的玻璃进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
实施例7、金属丝1选用不锈钢丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为4丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC83°的玉石进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
实施例8、金属丝1选用钢丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为4丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC83°的玉石进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
实施例9、金属丝1选用钨钼丝,金刚石粉末2的涂层厚度为3丝时,在线切割机床对硬度为HRC70°的玻璃进行切割,能达到较理想的切割效果。
从上述实施例可以看出,在线切割机床上采用本发明的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝后,能完成对非金属材料或者非导电体材料的切割,而且效果较为理想。
Claims (3)
1、一种用于线切割机床的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝,包括金属丝(1),其特征在于在金属丝(1)的表面镀有金刚石粉末(2)。
2、根据权利要求1所述的用于线切割机床的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝,其特征在于金刚石粉末(2)的厚度为1-4丝。
3、根据权利要求1所述的用于线切割机床的表面镀金刚石粉末的金属丝,其特征在于金属丝(1)可以是钢丝、不锈钢丝、钨钼丝、钼丝和黄铜丝。
