Prior art related to the present invention

Standard lighters are easy to handle, but present a potential fire hazard if they fall into the hands of children. As a desirable workaround, many lighters are recommended to consumers with various ignition guards to prevent use by children. Figure 6 is an example of a lighter with an ignition guard. The ignition guard depicted in Figure 6 utilizes a protruding flange, detent, and plunger to prevent movement of the boom (nozzle release lever). To operate, pull down on the plunger, pressing the stopper inward, causing the protruding rod to squeeze against the nozzle release lever and prevent downward movement of the nozzle release lever. The benefit of using the lighter with the pressing rod as the ignition preventing device is that it can effectively prevent children from using it. However, its disadvantage is that when the user needs to ignite the lighter, he has to move the pressing rod upward every time, which is very inconvenient. Preferred embodiment of the present invention and its industrial applicability

Figures 1 to 3 generally illustrate a preferred embodiment of the invention. The lighter consists of a gas tank cover (2) connected to a gas tank (1), and is firmly fixed on the gas tank (2) with a bracket (3).
