近年来,已在日本国内发现被指定为特定外来生物的害虫,并成为一个重大的社会问题。作为这样的特定外来生物,例如已知有红火蚁类、热带火蚁类(以下,有总称为“特定外来蚂蚁”情况。但是,在本发明,阿根廷蚂蚁设为未包含在特定外来蚂蚁者。)。特定外来蚂蚁为与本地蚂蚁为不同种类的蚂蚁类,具有强烈毒性或高繁殖力为特征。因此,当发现特定外来蚂蚁时,完全驱除它们虽很自然的,但重要的是采取驱避对策来防止特定外来蚂蚁入侵人类的生活区域变成迫切需要。
以往,作为用以驱避蚂蚁类的药剂,例如已知有将天然精油作为有效成分的驱避剂(例如参照专利文献1)。专利文献1中作为蚂蚁类的驱避剂的有效成分,记载有橡苔、橙花油(日文:オレンジフラワー油)、檀香油、绿薄荷油、百里香白油、广藿香油、玫瑰草油、柠檬草油、月桂油、大蒜油、金木犀油、椰子油、肉桂叶油、莳萝籽油(莳萝油)、百里香红油、吐鲁香脂、桦木油、秘鲁香脂。
另外,使用驱蚊胺等药剂来防除蚂蚁类的方法自以往即被进行(例如参照专利文献2)。驱蚊胺一般而言虽被作为对于蚊类等双翅目害虫的驱避成分使用,但根据专利文献2,蚂蚁类等膜翅目害虫亦被作为防除对象害虫之一而列举。

发明内容
发明要解决的课题
然而,特定外来蚂蚁与一般的本地蚂蚁生态大不相同。本地蚂蚁除在地下之外,还会在枯树内部形成群落(巢穴),并以相对比较少数的家族单位进行生命活动。另一方面,特定外来蚂蚁在地下深处形成群落,并且已知有二种类的生态:一个群落当中存在一只蚁后的单一女王制、和存在多数只蚁后的多女王制。尤其是具有多女王制生态的特定外来蚂蚁,群落内蚁后的个体数越多则繁殖力越高,一个群落内亦可多达4000万只的蚂蚁进行生命活动。
如此,特定外来蚂蚁由于与本地蚂蚁在活动规模或行为模式上大不相同,故对特定外来蚂蚁的群落即使应用以往所使用的专利文献1所记载的蚂蚁类的驱避剂(有效成分:天然精油)、或专利文献2所记载的防除剂(有效成分:驱蚊胺),也并非可以完全驱避或防除特定外来蚂蚁,不仅如此,亦有一部分蚁后快速察觉驱避剂或防除剂的存在,并且为了逃避它们的驱避效果或防除效果而与群落分离的可能性。
本发明是鉴于上述的问题点而完成者,以提供可对特定外来蚂蚁有效果地带来驱避作用的害虫驱避剂及害虫驱避制品作为目的。
用以解决课题的手段
为了解决上述课题的本发明的害虫驱避剂的特征构成如下,
作为对于红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类的驱避成分而含有以下的式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物。

根据本构成的害虫驱避剂,上述式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物虽已知以往对于蚊类、蚋类、蝶蝇类、家蝇类、厩螫蝇类、蟑螂类等害虫显示驱避效果,但根据对于红火蚁类、热带火蚁类等特定外来蚂蚁亦显示优异的驱避效果的新的见解,判断可成为用以驱避红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类的有效成分(驱避成分)。据此,含有本构成的哌啶衍生物的害虫驱避剂作为红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类用的害虫驱避剂有用,若使用本构成的害虫驱避剂,可减低因红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类导致的损害。
在本发明的害虫驱避剂中,
在上述式(I),R优选为碳数2~6的烷氧基。
根据本构成的害虫驱避剂,在上述式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物中,作为取代基R而选择碳数2~6的烷氧基,由此,可成为对于红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类具有更为优异的驱避效果的害虫驱避剂。
在本发明的害虫驱避剂中,
上述R优选为1-甲基丙氧基。
根据本构成的害虫驱避剂,在上述式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物中,作为取代基R而选择1-甲基丙氧基,由此,该哌啶衍生物作为害虫驱避效果高且对人体安全性优异的埃卡瑞丁,可成为对于红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类具有更为优异的驱避效果的害虫驱避剂。
在本发明的害虫驱避剂中,
优选进一步含有以下的(a)及(b)中的至少一者作为驱避香料成分,
(a)总碳数8~16的烃醛类和/或烃酮类
(b)总碳数8~12的单萜烯系醇类和/或芳香族醇类。
根据本构成的害虫驱避剂,除了上述式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物之外,进一步含有上述(a)及(b)中的至少一者的驱避香料成分,由此,利用哌啶衍生物与驱避香料成分的协同效果,可强力驱避红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类。另外,由于哌啶衍生物为无香性,故组合驱避香料成分时,对该驱避香料成分原本的香气几乎完全不影响。据此,哌啶衍生物可说是与驱避香料成分的兼容性良好的驱避成分。
在本发明的害虫驱避剂中,优选的是,
上述(a)的驱避香料成分为选自由癸醛、十一醛、十二醛、2-甲基十一醛、十三醛、10-十一碳烯醛、香茅醛、柠檬醛、橙花醛、苯基乙醛、肉桂醛、α-戊基肉桂醛、α-己基肉桂醛、铃兰醛、紫苏醛、3,5-二甲基-3-环己烯-1-甲醛(日文:トリベルタール)、枯茗醛、胡椒醛、十三烷酮、l-香芹酮、薄荷酮、蒲勒酮、顺式-茉莉酮、二氢茉莉酮、α-大马酮、β-大马酮、δ-大马酮、α-紫罗兰酮、β-紫罗兰酮、2-戊基环戊酮、2-己基环戊酮、2-庚基环戊酮、甲基苄基酮及甲基苯乙烯基酮所构成的组中的至少一种,
上述(b)的驱避香料成分为选自由芳樟醇、脱氢芳樟醇、二氢月桂烯醇、香叶醇、橙花醇、香茅醇、薄荷醇、松油醇、萜品烯-4-醇、异蒲勒醇、冰片、1-苯基乙基醇、2-苯基乙基醇、肉桂醇、百里酚及丁香酚所构成的组中的至少一种。
根据本构成的害虫驱避剂,通过将上述(a)的驱避香料成分与上述(b)的驱避香料成分从上述的各个选项当中选择,能够成为可更强力驱避红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类的害虫驱避剂。
在本发明的害虫驱避剂中,
优选为以(a)/(b)=0.1/1~9/1的配合比率(重量比)含有上述(a)的驱避香料成分与上述(b)的驱避香料成分。
根据本构成的害虫驱避剂,通过以上述的配合比率(重量比)含有上述(a)的驱避香料成分与上述(b)的驱避香料成分,而得到通过不同种类的驱避香料成分所增强的驱避效果(协同效果),且可得到即使芳香亦令人愉悦的害虫驱避剂。
在本发明的害虫驱避剂中,
优选进一步含有二醇类和/或二醇醚类作为驱避效果持续成分。
根据本构成的害虫驱避剂,由于二醇类和/或二醇醚类为较哌啶衍生物蒸气压更高的物质,故通过二醇类和/或二醇醚类来抑制哌啶衍生物的过度挥发。其结果,基于哌啶衍生物的对于红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类的驱避效果长时间持续。
在本发明的害虫驱避剂中,
优选实质上不含有杀虫成分。
根据本构成的害虫驱避剂,即使实质上不含有杀虫成分,也可通过上述式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物而得到对于红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类的驱避效果。因此,可以成为即使对于对杀虫成分过敏的消费者而言对日常使用的抗拒也较小的害虫驱避剂。另外,当害虫变得对驱蚊胺等以往的驱避成分具有耐性的情况下,亦期待驱避效果。
为了解决上述课题的本发明的害虫驱避制品的特征构成在于,
以含有上述任一种害虫驱避剂的液状制剂、凝胶状制剂或固体剂的形式来构成。
根据本构成的害虫驱避制品,由于含有本发明的害虫驱避剂,因此成为用以驱避红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类的实用且有用的害虫驱避制品。另外,作为制品形态,通过采用液状制剂、凝胶状制剂或固体剂,从而可成为易于使用的害虫驱避制品。
具体实施方式
本发明中,针对以往已知对于蚊类、蚋类、蝶蝇类、家蝇类、厩螫蝇类、蟑螂类等害虫显示驱避效果的哌啶衍生物,本发明者们重复努力研究时,得到此哌啶衍生物超乎预期地、对于成为现在社会问题的红火蚁类或热带火蚁类等特定外来蚂蚁具有特别优异的驱避效果的崭新发现,并根据此,而最终完成对于红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类的害虫驱避剂及害虫驱避制品。以下,针对本发明的害虫驱避剂及害虫驱避制品进行说明。但是,本发明并非想要被限定于以下的实施方式的构成或实施例的内容。
[害虫驱避剂]
本发明的害虫驱避剂含有以下的式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物作为对于红火蚁类和/或热带火蚁类的驱避成分。

在上述式(I),取代基的R虽为碳数2~6的烷基或烷氧基,但优选为碳数2~6的烷氧基。
R为碳数2~6的烷基时,可列举:乙基、正丙基、异丙基、正丁基、仲丁基、异丁基、叔丁基、戊基、己基等。R为碳数2~6的烷氧基时,可列举:乙氧基、正丙氧基、异丙氧基、正丁氧基、叔丁氧基、1-甲基丙氧基、2-甲基丙氧基等。这些取代基R当中,最优选的是R为碳数4的烷氧基的1-甲基丙氧基,这是以下的式(II)表示的1-甲基丙基2-(2-羟乙基)-1-哌啶羧酸酯[别名:埃卡瑞丁]。

上述式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物作为害虫驱避成分与自以往即被通常使用的驱蚊胺相比较,为蒸气压稍微低的物质。例如,作为代表性的哌啶衍生物的上述式(II)表示的埃卡瑞丁的蒸气压为0.059Pa(25℃),驱蚊胺的蒸气压为0.23Pa(25℃)。尽管如此,如后述的实施例的结果所示,含有哌啶衍生物的本发明的害虫驱避剂,对于红火蚁类或热带火蚁类等特定外来蚂蚁显示优异的驱避效果。另一方面,含有驱蚊胺的以往的害虫驱避剂与含有哌啶衍生物的本发明的害虫驱避剂相比较,对于特定外来蚂蚁的驱避效果显著劣化。这推测是因为:哌啶衍生物的驱避效果相较于通过有效成分(驱避成分)的挥发造成的空间驱避效果,反倒是依赖通过有效成分与害虫的接触的接触驱避效果较大。
另外,本发明的害虫驱避剂可以通过仅含有作为有效成分的哌啶衍生物,来对于特定外来蚂蚁显示实用上无问题的驱避效果,但通过空间驱避效果弥补接触驱避效果的情况下,将能够通过协同效果更强力驱避特定外来蚂蚁。因此,在本发明的害虫驱避剂中,除了上述式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物之外,并用驱避香料成分为有效。需要说明的是,由于哌啶衍生物为无香性(没有驱虫剂特有的气味),因此与驱避香料成分组合时,对该驱避香料成分原本的香气几乎不影响。据此,哌啶衍生物可说是与驱避香料成分的兼容性良好的驱避成分。
可与哌啶衍生物组合的驱避香料成分为(a)总碳数8~16的烃醛类和/或烃酮类及(b)总碳数8~12的单萜烯系醇类和/或芳香族醇类。上述(a)的驱避香料成分及上述(b)的驱避香料成分可仅使用任一种,亦可使用两者。
若例示上述(a)的驱避香料成分,可列举:癸醛、十一醛、十二醛、2-甲基十一醛、十三醛、10-十一碳烯醛、香茅醛、柠檬醛、橙花醛、苯基乙醛、肉桂醛、α-戊基肉桂醛、α-己基肉桂醛、铃兰醛、紫苏醛、3,5-二甲基-3-环己烯-1-甲醛、枯茗醛、胡椒醛、十三烷酮、l-香芹酮、薄荷酮、蒲勒酮、顺式-茉莉酮、二氢茉莉酮、α-大马酮、β-大马酮、δ-大马酮、α-紫罗兰酮、β-紫罗兰酮、2-戊基环戊酮、2-己基环戊酮、2-庚基环戊酮、甲基苄基酮及甲基苯乙烯基酮。这些(a)的驱避香料成分可单独使用,亦可组合多种使用。
若例示上述(b)的驱避香料成分,可列举:芳樟醇、脱氢芳樟醇、二氢月桂烯醇、香叶醇、橙花醇、香茅醇、薄荷醇、松油醇、萜品烯-4-醇、异蒲勒醇、冰片、1-苯基乙基醇、2-苯基乙基醇、肉桂醇、百里酚及丁香酚。这些(b)的驱避香料成分可单独使用,亦可组合多种使用。
并用上述(a)的驱避香料成分与上述(b)的驱避香料成分的情况下,两者的配合比率(a)/(b)以重量比计优选设定在0.1/1~9/1,更优选设定在0.5/1~1.4/1。若配合比率(a)/(b)为上述的范围,则得到通过不同种类的驱避香料成分(a)及(b)而增强的驱避效果(协同效果),且成为即使芳香亦令人愉悦者。配合比率(a)/(b)较0.1/1更小时或配合比率(a)/(b)较9/1更大时,变得难以享受到通过并用不同种类的驱避香料成分(a)及(b)所带来的协同效果。
本发明的害虫驱避剂亦可含有(c)总碳数8~16的烃酯类作为与上述(a)及(b)不同的驱避香料成分。上述(c)的驱避香料成分为与上述(a)的驱避香料成分、上述(b)的驱避香料成分合作而能够有助于增强对特定外来蚂蚁的驱避效果的成分。
若例示上述(c)的驱避香料成分,可列举:乙酸癸酯、乙酸芳樟酯、乙酸香叶酯、乙酸香茅酯、乙酸薄荷酯、乙酸松油酯、乙酸橙花酯、乙酸对叔丁基环己酯、乙酸三环癸烯酯、丙酸三环癸烯酯、异丁酸三环癸烯酯、乙酸苄酯、乙酸苯基乙酯、乙酸苏合香酯、乙酸肉桂酯、丙酸肉桂酯、己酸烯丙酯、庚酸烯丙酯、苯甲酸甲酯、苯甲酸乙酯、苯甲酸3-己烯酯、苯甲酸苄酯、肉桂酸甲酯、肉桂酸乙酯、水杨酸甲酯、水杨酸乙酯、水杨酸戊酯、茉莉酸甲酯及二氢茉莉酸甲酯。这些(c)的驱避香料成分可单独使用,亦可组合多种使用。
本发明的害虫驱避剂可根据需要含有驱避香料成分以外的成分。作为这样的成分,可列举:d-柠檬烯、α-蒎烯、β-蒎烯等烃类、异戊基苯基乙基醚、芳樟醇氧化物、1,8-桉树脑、玫瑰氧化物(日文:ローズオキサイド)、二苯基醚、曼可罗兰(日文:マグノラン)、大黄呋喃(日文:ルバフラン)、二氢茚基-2,4-二噁烷等烃醚类、2,6-二甲基-3-乙基吡嗪、香茅腈、百部酮(日文:ステモン)、邻胺基苯乙酮等含氮化合物类、檀香油、绿薄荷油、百里香白油、广藿香油、大蒜油、肉桂叶油、百里香红油、茉莉油、橙花油(日文:ネロリ油)、佛手柑油、橙油、天竺葵油、橙叶油、柠檬油、柠檬草油、肉桂油、桉树油、柠檬桉油等精油类等。
此外,本发明的害虫驱避剂含有二醇类和/或二醇醚类是有效的。二醇类和/或二醇醚类不仅作为驱避成分或驱避香料成分的溶剂,亦作为使驱避成分或驱避香料成分的驱避效果持续的驱避效果持续成分起作用。其起因在于,二醇类和/或二醇醚类为较哌啶衍生物蒸气压更高的物质。将二醇类和/或二醇醚类添加于哌啶衍生物时,抑制哌啶衍生物的过度挥发的,其结果是,基于哌啶衍生物的对于特定外来蚂蚁的驱避效果可长期持续。
若例示作为驱避效果持续成分而能够使用的二醇类和/或二醇醚类,可列举:丙二醇(10.7Pa)、二丙二醇(1.3Pa)、三丙二醇(0.67Pa)、二乙二醇(3Pa)、三乙二醇(1Pa)、1,3-丁二醇、己二醇(6.7Pa)、苄基二醇(2.7Pa)、二乙二醇单丁基醚(3Pa)、二丙二醇单丁基醚及三丙二醇单甲基醚。需要说明的是,记载在各物质名之后的括号内的数值为在20℃的蒸气压。这些二醇类和/或二醇醚类当中,优选的驱避效果持续成分为二丙二醇。驱避效果持续成分的含量优选设为驱避成分及驱避香料成分的含量的0.2~10倍。
本发明的害虫驱避剂中,若为对于特定外来蚂蚁的驱避效果不会带来干扰的物质及分量,则可配合除臭成分、除菌成分、抗菌成分等功能性成分。作为除臭成分,代表性有禾本科、山茶科、银杏科、木犀科、桑科、芸香科、金虎尾科、柿树科等植物萃取物。另外,通过配合被称为“绿的芳香”的青叶醇或青叶醛等,亦可赋予放松效果。
本发明的害虫驱避剂优选从其主旨出发而设为实质上不含有杀虫成分者。在此,所谓“实质上不含有”并非意指无论在任何情况下,杀虫成分的含量严格为0%。例如,无意地包含极微量的杀虫成分的情况、或即使有意地包含极微量的杀虫成分也无法发挥作为该杀虫成分的作用的情况,可视为实质上不含有杀虫成分的害虫驱避剂。作为无意地包含极微量的杀虫成分的情况的例子,可列举:在害虫驱避剂的制造设备中,在以前制造含有杀虫成分的其他制品时,附着在容器或配管的极微量的杀虫成分作为污染而混入害虫驱避剂的例子;漂浮或挥发在制造室内的空气中的杀虫成分被吸收到制造中的害虫驱避剂而混入的例子等。这样的情况下,即使为包含极微量的杀虫成分者,亦被作为实质上不含有杀虫成分的害虫驱避剂来看待。
本发明的害虫驱避剂虽然实质上不含有杀虫成分,但由于本发明的害虫驱避剂中的作为必须成分的哌啶衍生物具有对于特定外来蚂蚁的高驱避效果,因此显示与含有以往的杀虫成分的驱避剂同等或其以上的驱避效果。而且,实质上不含有杀虫剂的本发明的害虫驱避剂,可以成为即使对于对杀虫成分过敏的消费者而言对日常使用的抗拒也较小的害虫驱避剂。另外,若为本发明的害虫驱避剂,则即使在害虫变得对于驱蚊胺等以往的驱避成分具有耐性的情况下,亦可期待驱避效果。
[害虫驱避制品]
本发明的害虫驱避剂即使不进行特别的加工,亦可直接使用在驱避特定外来蚂蚁的用途,但制备成易于使用的剂型、作为含有0.01~99w/w%的害虫驱避剂的害虫驱避制品来使用是实用的。害虫驱避制品的剂型代表性而言可列举液状制剂、凝胶状制剂、固体剂。
作为液状制剂及凝胶状制剂,例如可列举液剂、乳剂、水溶剂、微乳液、气雾剂、乳霜等。关于液状制剂及凝胶状制剂,制剂中的驱避成分、驱避香料成分、驱避效果持续成分等各种成分的含量容易调整。因此,具有例如通过驱避成分的增量而增强驱避效果、或是通过驱避香料成分的增量而制成芳香性高的制品等容易变更害虫驱避制品的商品特性的优点。
作为固体剂,例如可列举粉剂、粒剂、诱饵剂等。固体剂由于没有液体泄漏或指尖变湿的风险,故具有操作容易的优点。作为固体剂而构成的害虫驱避制品,例如可通过使适当的载体担载(浸渗)害虫驱避剂来制备。将害虫驱避剂担载于载体时,如有必要可添加溶剂或表面活性剂等。作为载体,可列举:木粉、小麦粉等各种植物质粉末、纸、织布、无纺布等基布、Viscopearl(日文:ビスコパール)等多孔有机成形体、高岭土、滑石、碳酸钙、硅石、硅砂、陶瓷等无机载体、由聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯/乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)、乙烯/甲基丙烯酸甲酯共聚物(EMMA)、苯乙烯系二嵌段聚合物、苯乙烯系三嵌段聚合物、热塑性树脂弹性体(TPE、TPO)等构成的膜或成形体、硅橡胶等。例如,在载体为无纺布的情况下,可列举:将害虫驱避剂通过药液分配方式、涂布方式保持的方法;或是与石蜡一起包埋的方法。在载体为膜或成形体的情况下,可列举:将害虫驱避剂通过药液分配方式或涂布方式保持的方法;或是将害虫驱避剂与溶剂一起进行喷洒或滴下,而浸透于膜或成形体的方法。在载体为硅橡胶的情况下,可列举:将以高浓度含有害虫驱避剂的硅橡胶与无处理的硅橡胶投入密闭容器中,放置一定时间,通过硅橡胶全体使害虫驱避剂的浓度平均化的方法。
害虫驱避制品中的害虫驱避剂的配合量根据害虫驱避制品的用途、使用期、方法等适当调整,但为液状制剂或凝胶状制剂的情况下,优选为0.01~20w/v%,在固体剂的情况下,优选为0.01~10w/w%。例如,在使用了载体的固体剂的情况下,在假定为8~12小时的使用期的害虫驱避制品中,优选为每一制品含有害虫驱避剂10~50mg。在假定为15~30天的使用期的害虫驱避制品中,优选为每一制品含有害虫驱避剂100~2000mg。
在制备害虫驱避制品时,根据需要可配合溶剂、表面活性剂、助溶剂、凝胶基剂、凝胶化剂、分散剂、安定化剂、pH调整剂、着色剂等。作为溶剂,例如可列举水、乙醇、异丙醇等低级醇、酮系溶剂、酯系溶剂、正构烷烃或异构烷烃等烃系溶剂等。作为表面活性剂,例如可列举:聚氧乙烯氢化蓖麻油、聚氧乙烯高级烷基醚类(聚氧乙烯月桂醚、聚氧乙烯油醚等)、聚氧乙烯烷基苯基醚类、聚氧乙烯高级脂肪酸酯类、聚氧乙烯山梨糖醇酐脂肪酸酯类、聚氧乙烯甘油脂肪酸酯类、聚氧乙烯聚氧丙烯烷基醚等非离子系表面活性剂、月桂胺氧化物、硬脂胺氧化物、月桂酸酰胺丙基二甲基胺氧化物等高级烷基胺氧化物系表面活性剂。作为凝胶化剂,可列举聚乙烯醇、海藻酸、角叉菜胶等。
本发明的害虫驱避制品根据剂型被使用在各式各样的场面。作为液状制剂而构成的害虫驱避制品,例如作为喷洒制品被散布在物体或环境来使用。作为凝胶状制剂而构成的害虫驱避制品,例如作为涂布制品涂布于人体的皮肤来使用。作为固体剂而构成的害虫驱避制品,例如,在门口、厨房、厕所、客厅、卧室、仓库、车中、阳台、门廊、庭院、房屋的周围等散布或载置规定量来使用。尤其是,在害虫驱避制品为固体剂的情况下,由于形成以该害虫驱避制品作为中心使特定外来蚂蚁不会靠近的立体屏障,因此可在广泛范围发挥驱避效果。关于在成形体或硅橡胶上担载害虫驱避剂而构成害虫驱避制品者,可作为带而绕在脚踝或鞋上等,或是以夹具之类的固定工具的形式安装在鞋上等使用。关于在贴纸或膜上担载害虫驱避剂而构成害虫驱避制品者,可在载体的下面设置粘合层,贴在裤子的下部或鞋上等使用。
害虫驱避制品的施用量可根据剂型适当调整。在液状制剂或凝胶状制剂中,施用量优选为10~50mL/m2。施用量未满10mL/m2时,无法期待充分的驱避效果,施用量超过50mL/m2时,因粘性导致不适感增加。在固体剂中,施用量优选为10~50g/m2。施用量未满10g/m2时,无法期待充分的驱避效果,施用量即使超过50g/m2,由于驱避效果也几乎不发生变化故并不经济。
实施例
接下来,针对使用本发明的害虫驱避剂及害虫驱避制品的实施例进行说明。制备各种本发明的害虫驱避剂,使用它们,实施将本地蚂蚁及特定外来蚂蚁作为对象的效力确认试验(实施例1~19)。另外,为了比较,针对以往的害虫驱避剂亦实施同样的效力确认试验(比较例1~5)。需要说明的是,在以下的实施例中,虽以mg表示各成分的重量单位,但本实施例可以任意的倍率按比例扩大。据此,重量单位“mg”可改读成“重量份”。
[害虫驱避剂的制备]
依据下述表1所示的组成,制备实施例1~19及比较例1~5的害虫驱避剂。

在此,关于作为害虫驱避成分的表1中的哌啶a~f,在上述的式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物,取代基R为下述表2所示的官能团。

需要说明的是,哌啶a(埃卡瑞丁)、哌啶b及哌啶d使用了可于市场取得的试药等级的化合物。关于哌啶c、哌啶e及哌啶f,使用了本发明者们通过下述的步骤合成而得者。
[哌啶c]
将2-(2-羟乙基)-哌啶(715mg、5.53mmol)及三乙基胺(1.0ml、7.21mmol)溶解在甲苯6ml中,在0℃加入氯甲酸己酯(910mg、5.53mmol)。接下来,在20℃搅拌24小时后,对反应液加注水,使用乙酸乙酯萃取有机成分。接下来,将包含有机成分的有机层使用硫酸镁干燥后,于减压条件下进行浓缩,将残渣供于硅胶柱色谱而得到哌啶c。将哌啶c的质量光谱示于以下。

[哌啶e]
在哌啶c的合成中,除代替氯甲酸己酯而使用氯甲酸癸酯之外,通过同样的步骤而得到哌啶e。将哌啶e的质量光谱示于以下。

在哌啶c的合成中,除代替氯甲酸己酯而使用正壬酰氯之外,通过同样的步骤而得到哌啶f。将哌啶f的质量光谱示于以下。

[效力确认试验1]
将实施例1~19及比较例1~5的害虫驱避剂分别溶解在丙酮5mL中,制备害虫驱避剂的药液。将各供试药液0.3mL使用喷洒器滴加于直径15cm的滤纸的一侧的一半并风干。此情况下,在干燥后的滤纸中,例如在实施例1中,害虫驱避剂在滤纸每一半面包含3.0mg。然后,以包含此害虫驱避剂的滤纸的半面(处理区)、与不包含害虫驱避剂的滤纸的半面(无处理区)不重叠的方式,将滤纸放入直径15cm的玻璃培养皿。然后,在玻璃培养皿的内壁涂布滑石,分别放入30只日本毛蚁(本地蚂蚁的一种)或热带火蚁(日文:アカカミアリ)(特定外来蚂蚁的一种)作为供试虫,计数于5分钟后及2小时后存在于处理区及无处理区的蚂蚁的数量(虫数)。然后,将害虫的驱避率依据下述的式求出。
驱避率(%)=(无处理区的虫数-处理区的虫数)/供试虫数×100
实施3次上述的效力确认试验1,将于各次的试验中所计数的虫数的平均值使用在驱避率的计算。将试验结果示于以下的表3。

根据上述的效力确认试验1的结果,使用含有上述的式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物的害虫驱避剂时,从刚试验后(5分钟后)便得到使作为特定外来蚂蚁的一种的热带火蚁不会靠近的驱避效果。而且,该高驱避效果即使经过2小时后也大致得以维持(实施例1~19)。需要说明的是,确认即使对于作为本地蚂蚁的一种的日本毛蚁,也有与热带火蚁相同的效果(实施例1~19)。尤其结果是,在式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物中,取代基R为碳数2~6的烷氧基的化合物的驱避效果优异,此外,取代基R为1-甲基丙氧基的化合物(埃卡瑞丁)的驱避效果更为优异。
更详细考察时,如实施例5~8及实施例9~19的结果所示,确认了:除了害虫驱避成分外,作为驱避香料成分而还包含(a)总碳数8~16的烃醛类和/或烃酮类、及(b)总碳数8~12的单萜烯系醇类和/或芳香族醇类中的至少一者的害虫驱避剂,与仅包含害虫驱避成分的害虫驱避剂相比较,驱避效果提高(协同效果)。而且,根据本实施例确认了:在(a)的驱避香料成分与(b)的驱避香料成分的配合比率[(a)/(b)]为0.1/1~9/1的范围中,显示高驱避效果。此外,由实施例12与实施例16的比较及实施例15与实施例17的比较确认了:在配合二丙二醇的情况下,有使害虫驱避成分的驱避效果持续的效果。
另一方面,如比较例1~5的结果所示,确认了:包含上述的式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物以外的化合物、广泛用作人体用驱避剂的驱蚊胺的以往的害虫驱避剂,不仅无法说对蚂蚁具有足够的驱避效果,而且就对于热带火蚁的驱避效果而言,较对于日本毛蚁的驱避效果有相当劣化的倾向。
[效力确认试验2]
使用分别将实施例1、5~14、18及比较例1~5的害虫驱避剂溶解在丙酮5mL中而制备的害虫驱避剂的药液,通过与上述的效力确认试验1同样的步骤,实施将红火蚁(特定外来蚂蚁的一种)作为对象的效力效果试验2。但是,存在于处理区及无处理区的蚂蚁数量(虫数)的计数仅定为5分钟后。害虫的驱避率的算出方法与在效力确认试验1中的算出方法相同。将试验结果示于以下的表4。

根据上述的效力确认试验2的结果,使用含有上述的式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物、尤其是取代基R为1-甲基丙氧基的化合物(埃卡瑞丁)的害虫驱避剂时,从刚试验后(5分钟后)便对作为特定外来蚂蚁的一种的红火蚁也得到优异的驱避效果。
此外,如实施例5~8的结果所示,确认了:除害虫驱避成分外,作为驱避香料成分而还包含(a)总碳数8~16的烃醛类和/或烃酮类、及(b)总碳数8~12的单萜烯系醇类和/或芳香族醇类中的至少一者的害虫驱避剂,与仅包含害虫驱避成分的害虫驱避剂相比较,驱避效果提高(协同效果)。另外,根据实施例5与实施例6的比较及实施例7与实施例8的比较确认了:作为驱避香料成分而包含α-己基肉桂醛的害虫驱避剂,相对于未包含α-己基肉桂醛的害虫驱避剂,驱避效果大幅提高。
另一方面,如比较例1~5的结果所示,包含上述的式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物以外的化合物、广泛用作人体用驱避剂的驱蚊胺的以往的害虫驱避剂,对于红火蚁也是驱避效果劣化的结果。
如此,含有本发明的式(I)表示的哌啶衍生物的害虫驱避剂相对于特定外来蚂蚁,显示与本地蚂蚁同等或其以上的驱避效果,这是以往的蚂蚁驱避剂无法达成的值得特别注意的性能,证明了本发明的害虫驱避剂的有用性及实用性高。
[害虫驱避制品的构成例]
接下来,针对使用本发明的害虫驱避剂的害虫驱避制品的构成例进行说明。
[喷洒制品(液状制剂)]
作为害虫驱避成分,制备含有上述的式(II)表示的埃卡瑞丁8.0g(4.0w/v%)、作为(a)的驱避香料成分的枯茗醛及2-戊基环戊酮1.0g(0.5w/v%)、作为(b)的驱避香料成分的l-薄荷醇及2-苯基乙基醇2.0g(1.0w/v%)、异丙基甲基酚0.2g(0.1w/v%)及源自柿子萃取物的除臭成分1.0g(0.5w/v%)的害虫驱避剂。在该害虫驱避剂中加入99%乙醇110g(55w/v%)及纯化水而将总量定为200mL,填充于泵喷洒容器,构成喷洒型的害虫驱避制品(制品A)。
针对上述制品A,在被验者要去海边(报告有红火蚁栖息的区域)之前,小心喷洒遍布在上衣与裤子(表面上感到些许湿气的程度,大约20mL/1m2),特别喷洒在袖口与裤子的下部。在穿衣的状态下,虽在海边散步了大约5个小时,但不仅没有受到红火蚁等特定外来蚂蚁的困扰,而且亦未受到本地蚂蚁和其他害虫的困扰,亦未有蜱类附着。
[涂布制品(凝胶状制剂)]
作为害虫驱避成分,制备含有上述的式(II)表示的埃卡瑞丁3.0g(5.0w/w%)、作为驱避效果持续成分的1,3-丁二醇3.0g(5.0w/w%)及作为紫外线劣化抑制成分的对甲氧基肉桂酸乙基己酯0.12g(0.2w/w%)的害虫驱避剂。在该害虫驱避剂中加入作为凝胶基剂的聚羧乙烯0.09g(0.15w/w%)、作为凝胶化剂的三乙醇胺0.09g(0.15w/w%)、乙醇21g(35w/w%)及纯化水,将总量定为60g,填充在凝胶吐出容器,构成无香料的凝胶型的害虫驱避制品(制品B)。
另外,在上述的制品B所使用的害虫驱避剂中,另外追加作为(a)的驱避香料成分的二氢茉莉酮0.6g(1.0w/w%)及作为(b)的驱避香料成分的l-苯基乙基醇及二氢月桂烯醇0.6g(1.0w/w%),使其他成分与制品B所使用的害虫驱避剂为相同处方,制备以驱避香料赋香的凝胶型的害虫驱避制品(制品C)。
准备2根直径约4cm、长度为1m的棒,从一根棒的中央(50cm)附近起,在上方以20g/m2的涂布量涂布制品B。另外,对于另一根棒,同样地以相同涂布量涂布制品C。将两根棍子刺入红火蚁频繁进出的巢穴,观察红火蚁的行动时,对于任一棒,在红火蚁爬到棒的中央附近为止后,观察到折返行动。而且,关于该红火蚁的行动(折回到巢穴),制品C较制品B更快一些。如此,显示埃卡瑞丁对于红火蚁等特定外来蚂蚁显示高驱避效果,此外,证实通过将(a)的驱避香料成分与(b)的驱避香料成分与埃卡瑞丁并用,而增强对特定外来蚂蚁的驱避效果(协同效果)。
产业上的可利用性
本发明的害虫驱避剂及害虫驱避制品特别是在驱避、防除特定外来蚂蚁的目的中有用,此外,不仅能用作家庭用驱避剂或驱避制品,亦可用作业务用驱避剂或驱避制品。
Claims (9)
2.如权利要求1所述的害虫驱避剂,其中,在所述式(I)中,R为碳数2~6的烷氧基。
3.如权利要求2所述的害虫驱避剂,其中,所述R为1-甲基丙氧基。
4.如权利要求1~3中任一项所述的害虫驱避剂,其进一步含有以下的(a)及(b)中的至少一者作为驱避香料成分,
(a)总碳数8~16的烃醛类和/或烃酮类
(b)总碳数8~12的单萜烯系醇类和/或芳香族醇类。
5.如权利要求4所述的害虫驱避剂,其中,所述(a)的驱避香料成分为选自由癸醛、十一醛、十二醛、2-甲基十一醛、十三醛、10-十一碳烯醛、香茅醛、柠檬醛、橙花醛、苯基乙醛、肉桂醛、α-戊基肉桂醛、α-己基肉桂醛、铃兰醛、紫苏醛、3,5-二甲基-3-环己烯-1-甲醛、枯茗醛、胡椒醛、十三烷酮、l-香芹酮、薄荷酮、蒲勒酮、顺式-茉莉酮、二氢茉莉酮、α-大马酮、β-大马酮、δ-大马酮、α-紫罗兰酮、β-紫罗兰酮、2-戊基环戊酮、2-己基环戊酮、2-庚基环戊酮、甲基苄基酮及甲基苯乙烯基酮所构成的组中的至少一种,
所述(b)的驱避香料成分为选自由芳樟醇、脱氢芳樟醇、二氢月桂烯醇、香叶醇、橙花醇、香茅醇、薄荷醇、松油醇、萜品烯-4-醇、异蒲勒醇、冰片、1-苯基乙基醇、2-苯基乙基醇、肉桂醇、百里酚及丁香酚所构成的组中的至少一种。
6.如权利要求4或5所述的害虫驱避剂,其以(a)/(b)=0.1/1~9/1的配合比率即重量比来含有所述(a)的驱避香料成分与所述(b)的驱避香料成分。
7.如权利要求1~6中任一项所述的害虫驱避剂,其中,进一步含有二醇类和/或二醇醚类作为驱避效果持续成分。
8.如权利要求1~7中任一项所述的害虫驱避剂,其实质上不含有杀虫成分。
9.一种害虫驱避制品,其以含有权利要求1~8中任一项所述的害虫驱避剂的液状制剂、凝胶状制剂或固体剂的形式而构成。
