Claims (20)

  1. A support assembly comprising a flexible belt and a support mechanism, opposite ends of the flexible belt being secured to the support mechanism so as to be supported in tension by the support mechanism.
  2. The support assembly of claim 1, wherein the support mechanism comprises a retractable, telescoping mechanism, the flexible strap being in tension when the telescoping mechanism is extended.

  16. A support assembly according to any one of claims 2 to 14, wherein the support mechanism further comprises a first support and a second support, the telescopic mechanism being connected between the first support and the second support.
  17. The support assembly of claim 16, wherein the flexible strap is connected at one end to the first support body and at another end to the second support body.
  18. The support assembly of claim 17, wherein the second support body has a resilient member disposed therein, the other end of the flexible strap being secured to the resilient member.
  19. A support assembly according to any of claims 1 to 14, wherein the flexible strap is for supporting a flexible screen.
  20. An electronic device comprising a support assembly as claimed in any of claims 1-19 and a flexible screen, the support assembly being disposed below the flexible screen, the support assembly being for supporting the flexible screen.
