7. The multidirectional input apparatus of claim 1, wherein said first sliding member and said first operating member are of an integral structure or a separate structure.
8. The multidirectional input apparatus of any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein said spring plate has ribs formed on at least one surface thereof, said ribs extending along a length of said spring plate.
9. A handle, characterized in that the handle comprises a multidirectional input device according to any one of claims 1-8.
10. A gaming machine characterized by comprising the handle of claim 9.
