It is understood that the terms "a" and "an" should be interpreted as meaning that a number of one element or element is one in one embodiment, while a number of other elements is one in another embodiment, and the terms "a" and "an" should not be interpreted as limiting the number.
Referring to the drawings of the present specification and FIGS. 1 through 5, a showerhead in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention is disclosed and described in the following description.
The spray head comprises a spray tube 10 and a spray nozzle 20, wherein the spray nozzle 20 is arranged at one end of the spray tube 10.
The spout 10 has a mounting end 11 and a spray end 12, the mounting end 11 and the spray end 12 being formed opposite to both ends of the spout 10. The nozzle 10 also has a flow passage 100, the flow passage 100 extending from the mounting end 11 to the injection end 12 through the nozzle 10. Fluid enters the flow channel 100 from the mounting end 11 and exits the flow channel 100 from the ejection end 12.
The mounting end 11 is adapted to be mounted to a fluid supply to provide the spray head with a spray of fluid to be sprayed from the spray nozzle 20. For example, the mounting end 11 may be mounted to a dental irrigator, such that the spray head functions as a spray head for the dental irrigator,
the spout 10 may be vertical. In other examples of the invention, the end of the nozzle 10 is provided with a bending device to bend the direction of the spray. The shape of the spout 10 is not limited.
The nozzle 20 is mounted to the spray end 12 and is connected to the spout 10. The nozzle 20 has a spray channel 200. The injection passage 200 communicates with the circulation passage 100.
For example, the nozzle 20 may be fixed to the spout 10 by ultrasonic means.
The injection channel 200 has an inner wall 201. The inner wall 201 includes at least a first inner wall 2011 and a second inner wall 2012. Two of the second inner walls 2012 are oppositely formed.
In one example of the present invention, referring to fig. 3, the two inner walls 2012 are parallel to each other and spaced apart a small distance to form a flat opening at the end of the injection passage 200 at the nozzle 20.
The inner walls 2012 define the shape of the fluid flowing through the spray channel 200 as flat, and when the fluid is sprayed out from the spray channel 200, the fluid is flat, and the nozzle 20 is aligned with the slit, so that the fluid can accurately enter the slit for cleaning.
In another example of the present invention, the inner wall 2012 has an edge 20121 at the end of the nozzle 20 with reference to fig. 4 b. The two side portions 20121 are parallel to each other to form a flat opening at the end of the injection passage 200 at the nozzle 20. The distance between the two side portions 20121 is small, so that the opening 2000 is formed in a narrow and long flat shape.
That is, the end of the injection passage 200 at the nozzle 20 forms an opening 2000. The opening 2000 is flat. When the spray head is in use, the opening 2000 extends vertically to spray the fluid in a vertically flat state in the same or similar direction as the slit between teeth.
The first inner wall 2011 is connected to the second inner wall 2012. In an example of the present invention, two opposite first inner walls 2011 are formed between two second inner walls 2012, and the two first inner walls 2011 are arc-shaped.
In other examples of the invention, the first inner wall 2011 is straight or has other shapes.
Fluid enters the injection channel 200 from the flow channel 100 and is injected out of the opening 2000 of the injection channel 200. The opening 2000 defines the shape of the fluid jet as it exits. The opening 2000 is flat and the fluid is defined by the shape of the opening 2000 as a flat spray pattern. The cross-sectional area of the fluid is small, and the fluid is suitable for cleaning positions in the shape of long and narrow slits such as tooth slits. The nozzle 20 is directed toward the teeth, the opening 2000 is directed to the elongated space such as the slit, and the flat fluid is sprayed from the opening 2000 to be directed to the elongated space such as the slit for cleaning. The spray shape of the fluid is close to the narrow and long spaces such as the slit between the teeth, the fluid can accurately clean the spaces such as the slit between the teeth, the fluid can be effectively washed into the slit between the teeth, the cleaning efficiency is high, and the cleaning effect is good.
The nozzle 20 includes a body 21 and at least one bristle-implanted portion 22, the injection passage 200 is formed with the body 21, and the opening 2000 of the injection passage 200 is formed with an end of the body 21. The bristle part 22 is provided on at least one side of the opening 2000. In another example of the present invention, the flocked portion 22 is provided on both sides of the opening 2000. The number and position of the flocked portion 22 are not limited.
The bristle-implanted portion 22 is implanted with bristles. When the nozzle 20 is directed to the teeth for cleaning, for example, the opening 2000 of the nozzle 20 is directed to the interdental space, and the flat fluid sprayed from the opening 2000 cleans the interdental space. The implanted bristles of the bristle-implanted portion 22 of at least one side of the opening 2000 clean teeth beside the interdental space. Or the bristles implanted in the bristle part 22 may clean the interdental space.
The invention further provides a spray device comprising a body containing a fluid and a spray head as described above, the spray head being mounted to the body. The spray head is detachably mounted to the body. The body ejects fluid under certain pressure into the spray head and out of the opening of the spray head. The opening is flat so that the ejected fluid is flat. The fluid, under pressure, in combination with its flat shape, effectively cleans the elongated space.
The flat fluid is suitable for being sprayed into the positions of slits between teeth, gaps between tooth sockets and teeth, periodontium, gums and the like for effective cleaning.
It will be appreciated by persons skilled in the art that the embodiments of the invention described above and shown in the drawings are given by way of example only and are not limiting of the invention. The objects of the invention have been fully and effectively accomplished. The functional and structural principles of the present invention have been shown and described in the examples, and any variations or modifications of the embodiments of the present invention may be made without departing from the principles.
