Abstract
The invention provides a straw, which is formed by mixing starch and microcapsules according to a certain proportion into a body. The body is kept in a hollow structure body in one of dehydration or drying modes, the structure body is a pipe wall, and the wax liquid is thrown into the wax liquid to produce a wetting effect on the body. Microcapsules are microcapsules having a diameter of 30 to 1000 microns, and have a wall material that encloses a gaseous, solid or liquid core material. Therefore, the straw is solid, has the characteristics of lightness, eating and the like, and generates or changes the crisp chewing mouthfeel.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a tubular shaped article, and more particularly to a light Edible Straw (light Edible Straw).
Background
The tubular shaped article is most commonly a straw. The suction pipe is roughly divided into a straight pipe, an extension pipe, a flexible pipe and the like, and is used for sucking hand-operated beverages or liquid in a packaging container.
The straw is used and the garbage can is usually discarded. Since the straw is usually a synthetic resin such as polypropylene (abbreviated as PP), it is processed into a tubular molded article by injection molding, extrusion molding, blow molding, or filament drawing. These synthetic resin products are not easily decomposed, so the degree of damaging the surrounding environment by the suction pipe is very serious, and the ecological effect of the earth is very great. Under the expectation of people, the development of straw made of biodegradable resin is continuously ongoing.
For example, Japanese patent No. 5393566, while maintaining a straw with excellent rigidity through processing procedures such as molding, heating and expanding, patent No. 102206402 was granted. The straw divides the biodegradable resin into three components: specific gravity ofAliphatic polyesters or aliphatic-aromatic copolyesters; low bending elastic rate and specific weightAliphatic polyesters or aliphatic-aromatic copolyesters; specific gravity ofThe inorganic filler of (1).
In addition, the straw of Taiwan patent No. M469004 is made into edible tubular product by coating the inner and outer surfaces of the hollow starch body with two glue layers. The starch body is made by mixing starch with a plurality of addition units, and each addition unit can be sugar, salt, milk powder or a combination thereof, so that the taste of the starch body is changed.
However, the solid wall is dry and stiff and adds to the overall weight of the straw, which is not conducive to chewing.

Detailed Description
In fig. 1, the straw 32 is subjected to the steps of mixing 10, infiltrating 20, and finishing 30.
The body 16 is made by mixing the starch 12 and the microcapsules 14 in a liquid (e.g., clean water) in a certain ratio (e.g., by weight). The body 16 is kept in a hollow structure by one of dehydration and drying (e.g., heating and draining), and is put into the wax liquid 22. The wax liquid 22 produces an infiltrating effect on the body 16, and a solid tubular molded product with characteristics of lightness, edibility and the like is completed.
In the aspect of eating, the Starch (Starch or Amylum)12 refers to powder or granule obtained by grinding plants, such as wheat, potato, corn, sweet potato, tapioca, lotus root, rice and konnyaku or modified Starch. The wax liquid 22 is an edible wax attached to the surface of the body 16, such as a natural product of an animal or plant or a natural wax-blended fatty acid (e.g., beeswax or beeswax-blended fatty acid). Thus, the entire straw 32 has edible characteristics.
Referring to the internal structure of the straw 32 in fig. 2-4, the body 16 is a tube with a certain thickness, and defines an inner side 161, an outer side 162, a first end 163 and a second end 164 around the tube wall. A protective film 34 covers the inner side 161, the outer side 162, the first end surface 163 and the second end surface 164 of the body 16, thereby forming an inner film portion 341, an outer film portion 342, an upper ring portion 343 and a lower ring portion 344. Thus, the protective membrane 34 isolates the body 16 from liquid (e.g., water), such that the sum of the weight of the body 16 and the protective membrane 34 is approximately equal to the sum of the weight of the straw 32.
In other words, the starch 12 or microcapsules 14 become one of the controlling factors of the straw 32, and the mass of the whole can be determined by the respective weight ratio.
In this embodiment, the wall of the straw 32 is hollow enough to provide the straw 32 with a light weight. Briefly, where the microcapsules 14 are hollow, the straw 32 contains hollow microcapsules 14 and is a hollow tube wall. Where the microcapsules 14 are solid, the straw 32 contains solid microcapsules 14 and is a solid tube wall.
The mass (or weight) of the hollow straw 32 is lighter than that of a solid edible straw, with the same size and dimensions. Moreover, any user chewing on the hollow straw 32 also produces a crisp mouth feel.
In the figure, the microcapsules 14 are microcapsules having a diameter of 30 μm (micrometers) to 1000 μm. The microcapsules can be prepared by a variety of methods, such as spray congelation, electrostatic binding, centrifugation, water/oil phase separation, multiple emulsion, powder bed, interfacial polymerization, in situ polymerization, and radiation encapsulation. The microcapsule 14 has a film-like wall material 142 for enclosing a core material 145 in a gaseous state, a liquid state and a solid state. The wall material 142 maintains a constant volume, providing the microcapsules 14 with a certain strength.
The microcapsules are divided into a plurality of groups, at least one group of hollow capsules 141, and the remaining microcapsules are generally referred to as solid capsules 144, according to the physical state of the core material 145. The hollow bladder 141 is an inner chamber 143 defined by a wall 142, and the inner chamber 143 receives a volume of gas, such as air. Thus, the hollow bag 141 corresponds to a hollow tube wall at the portion of the suction tube 32, and the larger the number of hollow bags 141, the lighter the mass of the suction tube 32.
The solid capsule 144, as referred to herein, generally means a wall material 142 enclosing a solid or liquid core material 145, such as cream, chocolate paste, strawberry jam, fresh milk, and other flavored dairy products (including fruit milk powder, ginger milk powder, cola milk powder, foamed milk powder, etc.), sweeteners (such as aspartame, etc.), seasonings (such as lemon oil, peppermint oil, garlic oil, curry oil, etc.). Thus, the solid bag 144 provides the straw 32 with different tastes such as sour, sweet, bitter, spicy, etc., and has a blending effect of multiple tastes.
Of course, the shape of the body 16 is varied. In some embodiments, the body 16 may be a rectangular or oval tube, which not only changes the shapes of the inner side 161, the outer side 162, the first end surface 163 and the second end surface 164, but also changes the shapes of the inner film 341, the outer film 342, the upper ring 343 and the lower ring 344 of the protection film 34. Alternatively, it is within the scope of the present invention to convert the second end surface 164 of the body 16 from a flat torus to an inclined torus as shown in FIG. 5, with the straw 32 including the inclined lower torus 344.
