The electric quantity monitoring method comprises the following steps: acquiring current electric quantity information of a battery of the RTK base station; determining whether the battery is in a low-power state or not according to the current power information; and if the battery is in a low-power state, sending power prompt information to the terminal equipment. The method can monitor the electric quantity of the battery of the RTK base station equipment in time and send the electric quantity to the terminal equipment in real time, and a user can know the battery state of the RTK base station equipment in time, so that the battery of the RTK base station equipment can be replaced in time when the electric quantity of the battery is insufficient, and the RTK base station can work normally.
