It will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without some of these specific details. The following description of the embodiments is merely intended to provide a better understanding of the present invention by illustrating examples of the present invention.
It is noted that, herein, relational terms such as first and second, and the like may be used solely to distinguish one entity or action from another entity or action without necessarily requiring or implying any actual such relationship or order between such entities or actions. Also, the terms "comprises," "comprising," or any other variation thereof, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements does not include only those elements but may include other elements not expressly listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus. In order to solve the problem of the prior art, embodiments of the present invention provide a random access method, apparatus, device, and medium. First, the random access method provided in the embodiment of the present invention is explained in detail below.
The random access method applied to the terminal equipment provided by the embodiment of the invention can comprise the following steps: acquiring indication information of a random access process; and triggering a random access process according to the indication information, wherein the random access process comprises a two-step random access process or a four-step random access process. And further sending a random access message, wherein the random access message is a random access message MsgA corresponding to the two-step random access process or a four-step random access message Msg 1. Optionally, triggering the random access procedure comprises triggering a contention-based random access procedure.
The network side device provided in the embodiment of the present invention may be a base station, which may be a commonly used base station, an evolved node base (eNB), or a network side device in a 5G system (e.g., a next generation base station (gNB) or a network side device in a subsequent evolved communication system).
The Random Access message mentioned in the embodiments of the present invention may correspond to at least one of a Physical Random Access CHannel (PRACH) and a Physical Uplink Shared CHannel (PUSCH), that is: the random access message corresponds to PRACH; or, the random access message corresponds to the PUSCH; or, the random access message corresponds to PRACH and PUSCH.
In the two-step random access process, the random access message MsgA sent by the terminal device corresponds to the PRACH and the PUSCH, i.e. the random access message MsgA is borne on the PRACH and the PUSCH.
Under the condition that the random access message corresponds to the PRACH and the PUSCH, a corresponding part of content, such as a preamble, in the random access message may be transmitted through the PRACH; another part of content corresponding to the random access message, for example, a terminal device identifier or a cell radio network temporary identifier TC-RNTI, may be transmitted through the PUSCH.
In the embodiment of the invention, before sending the PUSCH corresponding to the random access message MsgA, the terminal equipment can acquire a PUSCH transmission opportunity for the terminal equipment to transmit the PUSCH. The PUSCH transmission opportunity may be pre-configured by the network side device, and may include one or more Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols.
The PUSCH transmission opportunity may also be associated with a PRACH transmission opportunity, specifically, one PUSCH transmission opportunity may be associated with one PRACH transmission opportunity, one PUSCH transmission opportunity may be associated with multiple PRACH transmission opportunities, multiple PUSCH transmission opportunities may be associated with one PRACH transmission opportunity, or multiple PUSCH transmission opportunities may be associated with multiple PRACH transmission opportunities, which is not limited specifically herein.
In the four-step random access process, the random access message Msg1 sent by the terminal device corresponds to the PRACH, that is, the Msg1 is only carried on the PRACH, or the Msg1 only includes the PRACH preamble.
In an embodiment of the present invention, after acquiring the indication information of the random access process, the terminal device may determine the random access process according to the indication information, and perform random access according to the determined random access process. Wherein, the random access process comprises a two-step random access process or a four-step random access process.
For example, if the indication information indicates that the random access procedure is a contention-based random access procedure, the terminal device performs random access in the contention-based random access procedure.
In an embodiment of the present invention, after acquiring the indication information of the random access process, the terminal device may determine the type of the random access process according to the indication information, and perform random access according to the determined type of the random access process.
For example, the indication information indicates a type of the random access procedure, i.e., two-step random access, and the terminal device performs random access based on the two-step random access procedure.
For another example, if the indication information indicates that the type of the random access procedure is four-step random access, the terminal device performs random access based on the four-step random access procedure.
For another example, if the indication information indicates that the type of the random access procedure is two-step contention-based random access, the terminal device performs random access based on the two-step contention-based random access procedure.
For another example, if the indication information indicates that the type of the random access procedure is contention-based four-step random access, the terminal device performs random access based on the contention-based four-step random access procedure.
In one embodiment of the invention, the indication information may be configured by signaling. The signaling may be a high-layer signaling, and may also be configured for a Downlink Control signaling (e.g., Downlink Control Information (DCI)). The higher layer signaling includes cell-specific configuration signaling (such as System Information Block (SIB), Master Information Block (MIB)) or terminal-specific configuration Information (such as Radio Resource Control (RRC) Information). The DCI is used to trigger a random access procedure. Specifically, the Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) of the DCI is scrambled by the C-RNTI, and the DCI may also be referred to as a PDCCH order triggering RACH transmission.
For the random access procedure triggered by the PDCCH order, the indication information is used to indicate that the triggered random access procedure is a two-step random access procedure or a four-step random access procedure, or is used to indicate PRACH transmission opportunity (occasion)/Synchronization Signal Block (SSB)/PUSCH occasion. The indicated PRACH occasion/SSB/PUSCH occasion is used to send a random access message corresponding to a random access procedure, where the random access message is a random access message MsgA corresponding to a two-step random access procedure or a random access message Msg1 corresponding to a four-step RACH.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the indication information may be configured by using at least one existing field of the signaling, and/or configured by using at least one newly added field of the signaling.

Assuming that the number of bits occupied by the PUSCH transmission opportunity index is M, and the number of bits occupied by the PUSCH time domain resource is N, then M + N is not greater than the number of bits of the PRACH Mask index.
Specifically, the PUSCH transmission opportunity index occupies bits of the PRACH Mask index, which are M MSBs of the PRACH Mask index, that is, the M MSBs of the PRACH Mask index are used to indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index; the PUSCH time domain resources occupy bits of the PRACH Mask index, which are N LSBs of the PRACH Mask index, that is, the N LSBs of the PRACH Mask index are used to indicate the PUSCH time domain resources.
Similarly, it can be exchanged that M LSBs are used to indicate PUSCH transmission opportunity index and N MSBs are used to indicate PUSCH time domain resource.
Or, the PUSCH transmission opportunity index and the bits of the PUSCH time domain resource are M + N MSBs of the PRACH Mask index, where 1 st to M MSBs indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, and M +1 th to M + N MSBs indicate the PUSCH time domain resource.
Or, the PUSCH transmission opportunity index and the bits of the PUSCH time domain resource are M + N LSBs of the PRACH Mask index, where the 1 st to M-th LSBs indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, and the M +1 st to M + N-th MSBs indicate the PUSCH time domain resource.
It should be noted that, the above description is given by taking an example that one existing field configures the PUSCH transmission opportunity index and the PUSCH time domain resource at the same time, and is only a specific example of the present invention, and does not limit the present invention. In one embodiment of the present invention, one existing field may simultaneously configure three parameter information, four parameter information, or even more parameter information. For example, one existing field configures the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, the PUSCH time domain resource, and the MCS at the same time. For another example, one existing field configures the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, the PUSCH time domain resource, the MCS, and the PRB mapping at the same time. For another example, one existing field configures the PUSCH time domain resource, MCS, VRB-to-PRB mapping, and frequency domain fm id at the same time.
For another example, when one existing field of the DCI is used to configure the indication information and one newly added field is used to configure one parameter information, it is assumed that the SS/PBCH index field of the DCI is used to configure the indication information and the newly added field 1 of the DCI is used to configure the PUSCH transmission opportunity index. The DCI is the above-mentioned DCI, i.e., PDCCH order. DCI contains the following fields:

Newly added field 1
When the Random Access Preamble indexes are all 0 and the UL/SUL indicator is X, the new field 1 is used to indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the PUSCH transmission opportunity index may be indicated with M MSBs or LSBs of the newly added field 1. Wherein M is not more than the bit number of the newly added field 1.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the N MSBs or LSBs of the newly added field 2 may be used to indicate the PUSCH time domain resources. Wherein N is not more than the bit number of the newly added field 2.
For another example, when indication information is configured in one existing field of DCI and two pieces of parameter information are configured in one newly added field of DCI at the same time, it is assumed that indication information is configured in a UL/SUL indicator field of DCI, and PUSCH transmission opportunity index and PUSCH time domain resources are configured in newly added field 1 of DCI. The DCI is the above-mentioned DCI, i.e., PDCCH order. DCI contains the following fields:

Newly added field 1
When the Random Access Preamble indexes are all 0 and the UL/SUL indicator is X, the new field 1 is used to indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index and the PUSCH time domain resource.
Assuming that the bit number of the newly added field 1 occupied by the PUSCH transmission opportunity index is M, and the bit number of the newly added field 1 occupied by the PUSCH time domain resource is N, M + N is not greater than the bit number of the newly added field 1.
Specifically, the PUSCH transmission opportunity index occupies bits of the newly added field 1, and is M MSBs of the newly added field 1, that is, the M MSBs of the newly added field 1 are used to indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index; the bit of the newly added field 1 occupied by the PUSCH time domain resource is N LSBs of the newly added field 1, that is, the N LSBs of the newly added field 1 are used to indicate the PUSCH time domain resource.
Similarly, it can be exchanged that M LSBs are used to indicate PUSCH transmission opportunity index and N MSBs are used to indicate PUSCH time domain resource.
Or, the bits of the PUSCH transmission opportunity index and the PUSCH time domain resource are M + N MSBs of the newly added field 1, where the 1 st to M MSBs indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, and the M +1 st to M + N MSBs indicate the PUSCH time domain resource.
Or, the bits of the PUSCH transmission opportunity index and the PUSCH time domain resource are M + N LSBs of the newly added field 1, where the 1 st to M th LSBs indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, and the M +1 st to M + N LSBs indicate the PUSCH time domain resource.
It should be noted that, the above description is given by taking an example that one newly added field 1 configures the PUSCH transmission opportunity index and the PUSCH time domain resource at the same time, which is only a specific example of the present invention and does not constitute a limitation to the present invention. In an embodiment of the present invention, three parameter information, four parameter information, or even more parameter information may be configured in one newly added field. For example, a new field configures the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, the PUSCH time domain resource, and the MCS at the same time. For another example, a newly added field configures the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, the PUSCH time domain resource, the MCS, and the PRB mapping at the same time. For another example, a newly added field configures the PUSCH time domain resource, MCS, and PRB mapping at the same time. For another example, a newly added field configures the PUSCH time domain resource, MCS, VRB-to-PRB mapping, and frequency domain fm identifier at the same time.
For another example, when one existing field of the DCI is used to configure the indication information, one existing field of the DCI is used to configure one parameter information, and one newly added field of the DCI is used to configure another parameter information, it is assumed that the UL/SUL indicator field of the DCI is used to configure the indication information, the PRACH Mask index field of the DCI is used to configure the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, and the newly added field 1 of the DCI is used to configure the PUSCH time domain resource. The DCI is the above-mentioned DCI, i.e., PDCCH order. DCI contains the following fields:
·Identifier
·Frequency domain resource assignment
when the Frequency domain resource allocations are all 1, the DCI indicates one PDCCH order for triggering random access.
·Random Access Preamble index
When all the Random Access Preamble indexes are 0, the DCI triggers contention-based Random Access.
When the Random Access Preamble indexes are not all 0, the DCI triggers non-contention based Random Access.
·UL/SUL indicator
When the Random Access Preamble indexes are all 0, the UL/SUL indicator is used to indicate a contention based Random Access procedure.
If the UL/SUL indicator is X, a two-step random access procedure is triggered.
If the UL/SUL indicator is Y, triggering a four-step random access process.
Wherein X and Y may be predefined or RRC configured. X and Y can be sets, and X ≠ Y.
·SS/PBCH index
When all the Random Access Preamble indexes are 0, the field is a reserved field.
·PRACH Mask index
When the Random Access Preamble indexes are all 0 and the UL/SUL indicator is X, the PRACH Mask index is used to indicate the PUSCH transmission opportunity index.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the PUSCH transmission opportunity index may be indicated with M MSBs or LSBs of the PRACH Mask index. Wherein, M is not more than the bit number of PRACH Mask index.
Newly added field 1
When the Random Access Preamble indexes are all 0 and the UL/SUL indicator is X, the new field 1 is used to indicate the PUSCH time domain resource.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the N MSBs or LSBs of the newly added field 1 may be used to indicate the PUSCH time domain resources. Wherein N is not greater than the bit number of the newly added field 1.
It should be noted that, the above description is given by taking an example that one newly added field configures one parameter information and one existing field configures another parameter information, which is only a specific example of the present invention and does not constitute a limitation to the present invention. In an embodiment of the present invention, a newly added field may be configured with multiple parameter information at the same time, and an existing field may also be configured with multiple parameter information at the same time. For example, an existing field configures the PUSCH transmission opportunity index and the PUSCH time domain resource, and a newly added field configures the MCS, the VRB-to-PRB mapping, and the frequency domain fm identifier.
Based on the above, when one field of DCI is used to configure only one parameter information, the parameter information may be indicated using M MSBs or LSBs of the field.
When one field of the DCI is used for configuring a plurality of parameter information, the sum of the bit numbers of the field occupied by the plurality of parameter information is not more than the bit number of the field.
In addition, the embodiment of the present invention does not limit the order in which the field is configured with the plurality of parameter information, and any available order may be applied to the embodiment of the present invention.
In one embodiment of the present invention, when one field of the DCI is used to configure multiple pieces of parameter information, the sum of the number of bits of the field occupied by the multiple pieces of parameter information is also greater than the number of bits of the field.
For example, it is assumed that the PRACH Mask index of DCI is used to configure the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, the PUSCH time domain resource, the MCS, the VRB-to-PRB mapping, and the TB scaling.
Assuming that the field of the PRACH Mask index has 6 bits, wherein, the highest two bits of the PRACH Mask index field are used for indicating the PUSCH transmission opportunity index, the highest three bits of the PRACH Mask index field are used for indicating the PUSCH time domain resources, the highest four bits of the PRACH Mask index field are used for indicating the MCS, the highest five bits of the PRACH Mask index field are used for indicating the VRB-to-PRB mapping, and the lowest four bits of the PRACH Mask index field are used for indicating the TB scaling. The number of bits occupied by each parameter information of the MsgA PUSCH is 2+3+4+5+ 4-18 bits. At this time, the bit number occupied by each parameter information of the MsgA PUSCH is greater than the bit number of the PRACH Mask index field.
