The method for processing the multicast service provided by the embodiment of the present application will be described in detail below through some embodiments and application scenarios with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIG. 2, an embodiment of the present invention provides a multicast service processing method 200, which can be executed by a network device, in other words, the method can be executed by software or hardware installed in the network device, the method Including the following steps:

S202: The first network device receives first broadcast-multicast information.

Wherein, the first broadcast-multicast information corresponds to the first broadcast-multicast service or session provided by the first network.

S204: Indicate the second broadcast-multicast information or target mapping information to the sender.

In the case of indicating the second broadcast-multicast information to the sender, the first network device determines the second broadcast-multicast information according to the first broadcast-multicast information sent by the sender in the previous step, wherein the first broadcast-multicast information There is an association relationship with the second broadcast-multicast information, and indicates the second broadcast-multicast information to the sender.

In case of indicating the target mapping information to the sender, the target mapping information indicates the relationship between the first broadcast-multicast information and the second broadcast-multicast information. After receiving the first broadcast-multicast information, the first network device indicates the target mapping information to the sender, so that the sender can determine the first broadcast-multicast information and the target mapping information based on the first broadcast-multicast information sent in the previous step. The second broadcast-multicast information corresponding to the broadcast information.

Thus, the sender can specify the second broadcast-multicast information. Since the second broadcast-multicast information corresponds to the second broadcast-multicast service or session provided by the second network, the sender can determine the second broadcast-multicast service or session provided by the second network.

In an implementation manner, the first network may include a home network of the UE, and the terminal participates in a first broadcast-multicast service or session on the first network, and the first broadcast-multicast service or session corresponds to the first broadcast-multicast information, The second network may include a hosted network. After the sender determines the second broadcast multicast service or session provided by the second network, the UE may be enabled to participate in the second broadcast multicast service or session provided by the second network.

Conversely, in an implementation manner, the second network may include a home network of the UE, and the terminal participates in a second broadcast and multicast service or session on the second network, and the second broadcast and multicast service or session is related to the second broadcast and multicast information Correspondingly, the first network may include a hosting network. After the sender determines the second broadcast multicast service or session provided by the second network, the UE may be enabled to participate in the second broadcast multicast service or session provided by the second network. That is, when the UE switches from the hosting network to the home network, it can continue to participate in the broadcast and multicast services or sessions provided by the home network.

In an implementation manner, the first broadcast-multicast information includes one of the following: broadcast-multicast group identifier, broadcast-multicast address information, network identifier, and network information.

In an implementation manner, the second broadcast-multicast information includes one of the following: broadcast-multicast group identifier, broadcast-multicast address information, network identifier, and network information.

In an implementation manner, the target mapping information includes the second broadcast-multicast information and the first broadcast-multicast information.
