技术领域
本发明涉及包含悬浮粒状物质的低粘度个人护理组合物。本发明还涉及一系列两种或更多种低粘度个人护理组合物。
背景技术
已知为“澄清洗剂”的化妆水为基本上不包含乳化剂的低粘度个人护理组合物。化妆水通常在使用面部清洁器之后并且在使用皮肤保湿剂之前施用到皮肤。化妆水的使用一直被认为是皮肤护理方案中的补充步骤,以中和由面部清洁器引起的皮肤表面pH升高,并且从而使皮肤为更好地吸收保湿剂做准备。
近年来,化妆水的使用已被设计为方案中的独立步骤,并且化妆水可提供的各种有益效果正被开发。
希望化妆水具有半透明的外观。一些消费者趋于相信半透明的化妆水比透明的化妆水“更浓”。为了实现个人护理产品中的半透明至不透明的外观,已经习惯地使用乳化技术。乳化的体系包含水相和油相。在乳液中获得半透明的外观背后的机理为很好分散的油滴具有不同于水的折射率,这继而引起光在油相和水相的界面处反射。该光反射导致乳液的半透明。
然而,化妆水具有比乳液的结构更简单的结构。由于化妆水保留在皮肤上并且不被冲洗掉,所以希望化妆水中的乳化剂含量保持尽可能低。此外,化妆水应优选具有低含量的油以防止油性皮肤感觉。
除了半透明的外观以外,还期望化妆水提供清新且光滑的皮肤感觉。已知的是某些粒状物质,例如硅氧烷树脂用于该目的。例如,转让给ColorAccess,Inc的WO00/56272A1涉及包含硅氧烷树脂的凝胶状液体粉末组合物。然而,形成半透明的外观和清新的柔滑皮肤感觉不应危害化妆水的低粘度要求,所述低粘度小于1000mPa.s。更高的粘度,如大于1000mPa.s为凝胶状组合物的特征,这与化妆水不同。
因此,希望提供温和的、低粘度个人护理组合物,其具有半透明的外观,提供清新的皮肤感觉,基本上不具有乳化剂,并且是稳定的。先前公布的参考文献中没有一个公开了本发明并且满足本发明的有益效果。
发明内容
在第一方面,本发明涉及一种低粘度个人护理组合物
所述低粘度个人护理组合物包含:
a)约10%至约99%的水,
b)约0.01%至约20%的悬浮粒状物质,
c)约0.01%至约5%的丙烯酸聚合物,其中所述组合物具有约80至约1000mPa.s的粘度,和约4至约9的pH,其中丙烯酸聚合物提供至少0.11Pa的选择塑变值。
在第二方面,本发明涉及一种低粘度个人护理组合物,所述低粘度个人护理组合物包含:
a)约50%至约99%的水,
b)约0.01%至约20%的聚甲基倍半硅氧烷,
c)约0.01%至约5%的丙烯酸酯/异癸酸乙烯酯交联聚合物,
d)约0.01%至约10%的粘度降低剂,其为可分离的活性剂,其中所述组合物具有约200至约600mPa.s的粘度和约5至约7的pH。
在第三方面,本发明涉及一系列两种或更多种低粘度个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物之一以不同于其它个人护理组合物中的那些的含量包含悬浮粒状物质。
具体实施方式
已出人意料地发现,清新、半透明、温和、低粘度的个人护理组合物(如,化妆水)可通过使用选择丙烯酸聚合物作为适当的悬浮助剂,并且通过最小化乳化剂的使用,通过粒状物质的稳定悬浮液提供。本发明的选择丙烯酸聚合物提供至少0.11Pa的选择塑变值。本发明不限于任何具体的作用机理,但是据信通过由悬浮助剂构建的组合物中交联的内部结构操作,所述悬浮助剂在组合物中承载粒状物质,并且减少粒状物质从组合物分离出来。本发明还提供一系列具有不同的半透明水平的产品,这通过改变本发明组合物中悬浮粒状物质含量,满足不同消费者的需求。

悬浮粒状物质
本含水组合物包含约0.01%,约0.1%,和约1%至约5%,约10%,和约20%的悬浮粒状物质,或各种悬浮粒状物质的混合物。
在本发明中,可用的悬浮粒状物质包含以微米测量的颗粒。可用于本发明中的粒状物质具有中值粒度和粒度分布,使得它们低于大多数消费者的触觉感知阈值,但是不是那么小以至于对柔滑和光滑的感觉无效。中值粒度是指粒状物质为纯的形式,即为基本上纯的,粉末形式。中值粒度可通过本领域中已知的任何适宜的方法确定,诸如ASTM Designation E20-85“Standard Practice for Particle Size Analysis of Particulate Substances in theRange of0.2to75Micrometers by Optical Microscopy”,ASTM第14.02卷,1993年。可用于本发明中的粒状物质可包含具有约1μm,约2μm,和约5μm至约10μm,约15μm,约20μm,和约40μm的中值粒度的颗粒。优选超过50%,超过60%,超过70%的粒状物质的颗粒属于相应的中值所规定的尺寸范围。

粒状物质的颗粒可为基本上球形的。球形颗粒包括具有光滑外表面的那些颗粒,和具有从它们的外表面突起的小刺突的那些颗粒。
粒状物质的颗粒基本上为不溶解的。具体地,粒状物质在25℃下具有不超过约1克每100克的水,优选不超过约0.5克,更优选小于约0.1克的溶解度。

在一个实施例中,粒状物质的颗粒选自聚甲基倍半硅氧烷、尼龙、聚乙烯以及它们的组合。聚甲基倍半硅氧烷粒状物质还通常已知为硅氧烷树脂。

丙烯酸聚合物和选择塑变值
本发明组合物包含约0.01%,约0.05%,和约0.1%至约1%,约2%,和约5%的丙烯酸聚合物。
以所述聚合物的重量计,丙烯酸聚合物为具有50%或更多的(甲基)丙烯酸单体残留物的聚合物。如本文所用,并且如由F.W.Billmeyer在由Wiley-Interscience,1971年公布的Textbook of Polymer Science,第二版中所定义,术语“聚合物”为包含较小的、较简单的重复化学单元的大分子。“单体”为互相反应以变成聚合物的重复单元的化学物质。聚合物可为直链的、支化的、交联的、星形的、或它们的任何组合。聚合物可为均聚物(即,由一种类型的单体构建)或共聚物(由两种或更多种类型的单体构建)。共聚物可具有无规、嵌段、序列、或它们的组合排列的单体单元。聚合物具有大于或等于1,000,或甚至大于或等于10,000的重均分子量。聚合物可具有各种各样的物理形式中的任一种,并且一些聚合物可从一种物理形式转变成另一种。一些聚合物为固体、液体、或它们的组合。一些聚合物溶解于溶剂中以形成溶液。一些聚合物为分散的:即,它们作为分散在液体介质中的聚合的粒状物质存在。
(甲基)丙烯酸单体为(甲基)丙烯酸、它们的任何酯、或它们的任何酰胺的任何单体。(甲基)丙烯酸的酯或酰胺可具有烷基基团、芳族基团、各种各样的取代基团中的任一种,诸如羟基、环氧化物、胺、硫醇、氨基甲酸酯、羧基、或其它取代基团、或它们的任何组合。一些(甲基)丙烯酸单体精确地具有一种碳-碳双键,而其它(甲基)丙烯酸单体具有两个或更多个碳-碳双键。一些单体在本文中描述为(甲基)丙烯酸与某些醇的酯。应当理解,此类描述指的是可通过任何方法制成的如此描述的单体结构,包括通过使(甲基)丙烯酸与某些醇反应。
丙烯酸聚合物早已被用于各种工业中以提供流变特性修饰有益效果,包括但不限于增稠能力,以及对于其中其被掺入的组合物的悬浮能力。一些聚合物在商业上标榜致力于提供悬浮能力,而其它聚合物标榜为更致力于构建粘度。对于本发明重要的是为本低粘度个人护理组合物选择适宜的丙烯酸聚合物,这可向悬浮粒状物质提供足够高的塑变值,而同时不过多地增加粘度。
已被本申请人出人意料地发现,可在筛选溶液中通过筛选方法选择适于用作低粘度个人护理组合物中对于悬浮粒状物质的悬浮助剂的丙烯酸聚合物。由丙烯酸聚合物提供的选择塑变值是指对于掺入丙烯酸聚合物的待被筛选的筛选溶液的塑变值。筛选溶液可根据以下步骤制备。
a)通过在水中分散预确定量的丙烯酸聚合物并且调节pH至约6来制备丙烯酸聚合物溶液,
b)任选地,向丙烯酸聚合物溶液添加粘度降低剂以达到低粘度含水组合物,其中连同或不连同粘度降低剂的预定量的丙烯酸聚合物使低粘度含水组合物的粘度至约500±60mPa.s。
对于包含丙烯酸聚合物的待被筛选的每种筛选溶液测量选择塑变值。如果丙烯酸聚合物使得选择塑变值为至少0.11Pa,优选至少0.12Pa,则其被认为是用于本个人护理组合物中适宜的丙烯酸聚合物以稳定地使粒状物质悬浮。不受理论的约束,对于作为本个人护理组合物的适宜悬浮助剂的丙烯酸聚合物,据信有利的交点存在于增稠能力和悬浮能力之间。
本发明适宜的可商购获得的丙烯酸聚合物包括以Stabylen30由3V Inc出售的丙烯酸酯/异癸酸乙烯酯交联聚合物,以1382、PemulenTMTR-2和PemulenTMTR-1由Lubrizol出售的丙烯酸酯/丙烯酸C10-30烷基酯交联聚合物,以及以981和980和由Lubrizol出售的卡波姆。
粘度降低剂
为了获得本发明的组合物在约80mPa.s,或约200mPa.s至约600mPa.s,或约1000mPa.s范围内的粘度,本发明组合物可包含约0.01%,约0.5%,和约1%至约2%,约5%,和约10%的粘度降低剂。
适宜的粘度降低剂可为电解质,优选一价盐,包括但不限于氯化钠、氯化钾、以及它们的组合。一价盐可特意地结合到组合物中,或者其也可作为来自本发明组合物中的任何其它成分的杂质存在。粘度降低剂也可为个人护理组合物中的可分离的皮肤活性剂,具有约4或5至约7或9的pH。含水组合物中的此类可分离的皮肤活性剂包括以NET-DG由BarnetProducts Corporation出售的甘草酸二钾盐,以MSH由SeppicS.A出售的十一碳烯酰基苯丙氨酸,以50由DSM NutritionalProducts,Inc出售的抗坏血酸磷酯钠,和以HP100由Cognis出售的二羟乙基磺酸己氧苯醚。
根据待被悬浮的粒状物质的含量,聚合物的含量,比粘度和具体的皮肤感觉要求,粘度降低剂的量和种类可因此被确定。在其中产品要求特定的半透明水平或皮肤感觉的一个实施例中,所需粒状物质的量可从而被确定。作为下一个步骤,根椐所期望的在约80mPa.s至约1000mPa.s范围内的比粘度限度,粘度降低剂含量连同丙烯酸聚合物含量无需过度的努力就可被确定。
湿润剂
本发明组合物可包含一种或多种润湿剂。可采用多种润湿剂并且每个可以约0.1%,约1%,和约2%至约5,约10%,和约30%的含量存在。
润湿剂的非限制性例子包括选自以下的物质:多羟基醇,诸如山梨醇、甘油、己三醇、丙二醇、丁二醇、戊二醇、己二醇、丙氧基化甘油等;聚乙二醇、胍、乙醇酸和乙醇酸盐(如铵和季烷基铵)、乳酸和乳酸盐;为其任何形式的芦荟(如芦荟凝胶)、糖和淀粉类、糖和淀粉衍生物(如烷氧基化葡萄糖)、透明质酸、乳酰胺单乙醇胺、乙酰胺单乙醇胺、以及它们的组合。在一个实施例中,湿润剂为多羟基醇。
乳化剂
本发明的组合物可包含可用于在水相内分散或悬浮油相,或油性化合物,诸如香料的乳化剂。然而,在一个实施例中,本发明组合物包含不超过约10%,不超过5%,不超过1%,或不超过0.5%的乳化剂。在另一个实施例中,本发明的组合物不包含乳化剂。
各种各样的乳化剂,诸如非离子乳化剂、阴离子乳化剂、阳离子乳化剂和两性乳化剂可用于本文。非离子乳化剂是优选的。

其它成分
本发明的组合物可包含多种常规用于给定产品类型中的其它成分,前提条件是它们不会不可接受地改变本发明的有益效果。
在本发明的任何实施例中,用于本文的活性物质可通过它们提供的有益效果或通过它们的假设的作用模式被分类。然而应当理解,可用于本文的活性物质可在一些情况下提供多于一种有益效果或经由多于一种作用模式操作。因此,进行本文的分类是为了方便起见,并且不旨在将活性物质限定于所列的具体应用或多种应用。

制备方法
本发明组合物可通过在制备局部组合物的领域中已知的常规方法制备。此类步骤通常涉及在加热或不加热、冷却、施加真空等下,在一个或多个步骤中将成分混合至相对均匀状态。
例如,本发明的组合物可根据以下步骤制备:1)通过均化或简单混合,通过在水中分散丙烯酸聚合物制备丙烯酸聚合物的第一预混物,2)向第一预混物添加组合物的水溶性组分,3)制备粒状物质的第二预混物,4)将第一和第二预混物组合,5)向第一和第二预混物的组合混合物添加pH调节剂。pH调节剂也可在步骤1)-4)中的任一者中添加。
在其中组合物包含润湿剂的一个实施例中,润湿剂可与粒状物质在第二预混物的制备期间混合。
在其中香料或少量的其它油可溶性成分被包含在本发明组合物中的另一个实施例中,可制备另一种油可溶性成分和乳化剂的预混物。该预混物可被添加到第一或第二预混物中,或在第一和第二预混物组合期间同时被添加。
使用方法
本发明的组合物可被适宜地用于局部施用在哺乳动物角质组织上,包括但不限于皮肤护理组合物、毛发护理组合物等。适宜的皮肤护理组合物包括例如化妆水。
个人护理组合物系列
本发明还涉及一系列两种或更多种低粘度个人护理组合物。在系列中,组合物之一以不同于本发明的其它个人护理组合物中的含量包含悬浮粒状物质。粒状物质变化的含量提供个人护理组合物从略微半透明至接近不透明的不同半透明水平。具有不同半透明度的组合物系列可在货架上一起展示和/或一起出售。
测量的方法
粘度测量
产品粘度可使用UL衔接子和一套LV锭子,通过可商购获得的粘度计,如BROOKFIELD DV II+粘度计测量。为了测量高于12mPa.s的粘度,应使用5rpm的旋转速度。为了测量低的粘度,如1~12mPa.s,应使用50rpm的旋转速度。
塑变值测量
塑变值可通过使用可商购获得的流变仪测量。本发明通过使用具有可从Anton Paar GmbH商购获得的传感器TEZ150P-C的Modular CompactRheometer PHYSICA MCR300测量塑变值。流动测试分析软件为PhysicaRheoPlus,并且应用在测量中的剪切速率为0.01秒-1至10秒-1。
稳定性测量
加速的稳定性测试在40℃和75%相对湿度下进行。对于稳定性测试的成功判据为测试产品在至少一周时保持稳定,具有经由肉眼观测基本上无粒状物质显著地沉降到产品的底部或漂浮到产品的顶部。“基本上无”是指小于约0.1%,优选小于0.05%的悬浮粒状物质沉降到产品的底部或漂浮到产品的顶部。可有利地通过将测试产品放置在透明的容器中并且在朝着容器的垂直方向直接光照观测。
实例
以下实例还描述并展示了在本发明范围内的实施例。实例的给出仅为举例说明之目的,并且不可解释为对本发明的限制,因为在不脱离本发明的实质和范围的情况下,它们的许多变型是可能的。
实例A-M
实例A-F表示包含选择用于本低粘度个人护理组合物中的悬浮粒状物质的丙烯酸聚合物的许多筛选溶液。实例G-M表示包含并非选择用于本低粘度个人护理组合物中的悬浮粒状物质的不同聚合物的许多筛选溶液(其它丙烯酸聚合物和非丙烯酸聚合物)。
实例A-M的每种筛选溶液如下制备。首先,通过在具有pH调节至约6的水中分散由每种聚合物制备的聚合物溶液。然后,将0.2%聚甲基倍半硅氧烷和0.1%NaCl添加到聚合物溶液中并且混合均匀以获得筛选溶液。
在实例A-M中所用的聚合物中的每一种描述于下表1中。还包括于表1中的为流变特性参数,即每种筛选溶液的粘度和塑变值,以及每种筛选溶液的悬浮稳定性结果。

包含丙烯酸聚合物(某些种类的卡波姆和丙烯酸酯/丙烯酸C10-30烷基酯交联聚合物)的实例A-F的选择溶液提供至少0.11Pa的选择塑变值并且表现出必不可少的悬浮稳定性。
包含不同丙烯酸聚合物(其它种类的卡波姆和丙烯酸酯/丙烯酸C10-30烷基酯交联聚合物)的实例G-J的选择溶液提供至少0.11Pa的选择塑变值并且不表现出必不可少的悬浮稳定性。
包含非丙烯酸聚合物(如纤维素、树胶、聚丙烯酰胺)的实例K-M溶液提供高于或低于0.11Pa的选择塑变值,不表现出必不可少的悬浮稳定性。据信由聚合物提供的内部结构和塑变值阈值两者在悬浮粒状物质中是重要的。不受理论的约束,据信非丙烯酸聚合物,尽管它们提供高于0.11Pa的选择塑变值,但是它们不类似于选择丙烯酸聚合物所做的那样构建选择的交联的内部结构。
实例1-8和比较实例1-3
根据本发明的实例1-8为低粘度个人护理组合物,而比较实例1-3为不属于本发明的组合物。实例1-8和比较实例1-3组合物可适当地如下文所述制成:
1)聚合物的第一预混物通过在去离子水(组分#1)中分散实例1-8和比较实例1-3的丙烯酸聚合物(组分#16-20)中每一种来制备。
2)添加水溶性组分(组分#2-7)并与聚合物混合均匀。
3)然后将pH调节剂(组分#21)添加到上述混合物中以中和聚合物。
4)粒状物质的第二预混物通过共混实例1-8和比较实例1-3中的二醇(组分#8、#10)和粒状物质(组分#11-15)来制备。
5)然后将第二预混物添加到第一预混物中,并且然后使用常规的混合技术将它们混合均匀。
6)将乳化剂(组分#9)加入步骤3中获得的混合物中,并且将它们混合均匀,直至粒状物质很好地分散。
然后根据本文所述的加速稳定性测试测试所制备的组合物的稳定性。

实例1-8组合物的组合物具有在约470mPa.s至约930mPa.s范围内的粘度。通过使用选择的丙烯酸聚合物或具有至少0.11Pa的选择塑变值的丙烯酸聚合物的混合物,这些组合物表现出如本文所定义的稳定性。
比较实例1-3的组合物具有在18至约500mPa.s范围内的粘度。这些组合物包含具有小于0.11Pa的选择塑变值和不表现出如本文所定义的稳定性的丙烯酸聚合物。

Claims (17)
1.一种低粘度个人护理组合物,包含,
a)约10%至约99%的水,
b)约0.01%至约20%的悬浮粒状物质,
c)约0.01%至约5%的丙烯酸聚合物,
其中所述组合物具有约80至约1000mPa.s的粘度,和约4至约9的pH,其中所述丙烯酸聚合物提供至少0.11Pa的选择塑变值。
2.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述悬浮粒状物质包含具有约2μm至约15μm中值粒度的颗粒。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述悬浮粒状物质包含具有约0.8cm3至约1.3cm3比重的颗粒。
4.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述丙烯酸聚合物提供至少0.12Pa的选择塑变值。
5.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述丙烯酸聚合物为丙烯酸酯/异癸酸乙烯酯交联聚合物。
6.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其还包含约0.01%至约10%的粘度降低剂。
7.根据权利要求6所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述粘度降低剂为可分离的活性剂。
8.根据权利要求7所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述可分离的活性剂选自甘草酸二钾盐、十一碳烯酰基苯丙氨酸、抗坏血酸磷酯钠、二羟乙基磺酸己氧苯醚、以及它们的组合。
9.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述粘度为约200至约600mPa.s。
10.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述pH为约5至约7。
11.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其包含不超过约10%的乳化剂。
12.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其还包含至多约30%的湿润剂。
13.根据权利要求12所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述湿润剂为多羟基醇。
14.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述悬浮粒状物质选自聚甲基倍半硅氧烷、尼龙、聚乙烯、以及它们的组合。
15.一种低粘度个人护理组合物,包含:
e)约50%至约99%的水,
f)约0.01%至约20%的聚甲基倍半硅氧烷,
g)约0.01%至约5%的丙烯酸酯/异癸酸乙烯酯交联聚合物,
h)约0.01%至约10%的粘度降低剂,其为可分离的活性剂,其中所述组合物具有约200至约600mPa.s的粘度,和约5至约7的pH。
16.根据权利要求15所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述可分离的活性剂选自甘草酸二钾盐、十一碳烯酰基苯丙氨酸、抗坏血酸磷酯钠、二羟乙基磺酸己氧苯醚、以及它们的组合。
17.根据权利要求1-16中任一项所述的一系列两种或更多种低粘度个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物之一以不同于其它个人护理组合物中的那些的含量包含所述粒状物质。
