Abstract

一种可避免排气口回火引爆的铅酸蓄电池盖,属蓄电池技术领域,用于解决蓄电池遇明火易发生爆炸的问题。它由大盖和排气盖组成,二者对接面热封,排气盖两侧对称设有排气部位,各排气部位设有一个气体通道,气体通道中设有滤气片,排气口设置在气体通道外端、排气盖侧壁处,改进后,滤气片与排气口之间增设一个小气室,小气室出口位于其短边上,与排气口位置对应。经此改进,排气口处出现明火时,其一可使燃气沿气室长度方向爆炸,并能够顺利排出蓄电池外;其二,较小的气室和相对较大的出气口提供了通畅的气体通道,所以可明显降低可燃气体的爆炸能力,不会引发蓄电池爆炸,从而大大提高了蓄电池的使用安全性能。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种机动车蓄电池部件,特别是可有效避免因蓄电池排气口回火而引爆蓄电池的铅酸蓄电池盖,属蓄电池技术领域。
背景技术
铅酸蓄电池一般由多个单格电池组成,各单格电池中装有硫酸电解液。在电池充电过程中,除正常的电化学反应外,电池还会发热,并伴随电解水的反应,所产生的水蒸气夹带着硫酸以及氢氧混合气体一起由蓄电池盖上的排气口排出。此时,如果排气口处有明火存在,就可能引燃可燃性气体,严重的情况下,燃烧的火焰会传递进蓄电池内,引起蓄电池爆炸,严重威胁到人车安全。因此有必要对现有铅酸蓄电池盖的结构进行改进,使其在上述特殊情况下,电池不会被引燃并进而引发爆炸。
发明内容
本发明用于克服已有技术的缺陷而提供一种可在蓄电池充电条件下遇到明火而不发生爆炸的可避免排气口回火引爆的铅酸蓄电池盖。
本发明所称问题是以下述技术方案解决的:
一种可避免排气口回火引爆的铅酸蓄电池盖,由大盖和排气盖组成,二者对接面热封在一起,所述排气盖两侧对称设有排气部位,各排气部位设有一个气体通道,气体通道中设有滤气片,排气口设置在气体通道外端、排气盖侧壁处,其特别之处是:所述滤气片4与排气口6之间增设一个长形小气室5,小气室出口5-1位于其短边上,与排气口6位置对应。
上述可避免排气口回火引爆的铅酸蓄电池盖,所述小气室5的体积与小气室出口5-1的面积之比小于35。
上述可避免排气口回火引爆的铅酸蓄电池盖,所述小气室短边尺寸与长边尺寸之比为1∶2~5。
上述可避免排气口回火引爆的铅酸蓄电池盖,所述滤气片为两片,两滤气片3、4相互垂直地设置在排气盖上,滤气片盖2覆盖在两滤气片与小气室顶部,所述小气室5与滤气片4相邻,其长边平行于滤气片4表面。
本发明针对现有蓄电池在充电过程中、因可燃性气体逸出遇明火可引燃爆炸的隐患,对现有蓄电池盖的排气结构进行了改进,它在排气盖的气体通道上设置了一个长形小气室,小气室出口即位于其短边上,并提供了小气室体积与其出口的面积的比值。经此改进,排气口处出现明火时,其一可使可燃气体沿小气室长度方向爆炸,使爆炸气体能够顺利排出蓄电池外;其二,较小的气室和相对较大的气室出口提供了通畅的气体通道,所以可以明显的降低可燃气体的爆炸能力,不会引发蓄电池爆炸。将本发明安装在蓄电池上后,可消除蓄电池充电条件下遇到明火发生爆炸的隐患,大大提高了蓄电池的使用安全性能。

具体实施方式
参看图1、图3,本发明是由大盖7和排气盖1组成,二者对接热封后形成蓄电池盖。
参看图1、图2,排气盖1两侧对称设有排气部位8,各排气部位设有一个气体通道,气体通道中设有滤气片,排气口6设置在气体通道外端、排气盖侧壁处,图中箭头所示为气体在气体通道中的流向。气体通道内设有两片滤气片3、4,两滤气片均为方形片或矩形片,它们相互垂直的设置在排气盖上。为防止蓄电池在充电过程中可燃性气体由排气口6逸出,遇明火可引燃蓄电池爆炸的危险,本发明增设一小气室5,小气室位于滤气片4与排气口6之间,与滤气片4相邻。小气室为长形,其短边尺寸与长边尺寸之比为1∶2~5,小气室长边平行于滤气片4表面,小气室出口5-1位于其短边上,位置与排气口6对应。小气室5的体积与小气室出口5-1的面积之比要小于35。滤气片盖2覆盖在两滤气片与小气式顶部。
本发明的设计原理如下:蓄电池在充电过程中,若在蓄电池盖的排气口处出现明火时,小气室的可燃气体易发生爆炸,可燃气体沿小气室长度方向爆炸,而小气室出口正对着这个方向,所以爆炸气体能够顺利排出蓄电池外。由于滤气片4平行于这个爆炸方向,因此不会受到明显的冲击。此外,本发明经过计算,设计了小气室体积除以小气室出口的面积要小于35,较小的气室提供的可燃气体量就较少,而相对较大的小气室出口提供了通畅的气体通道,所以可以明显的降低可燃气体的爆炸能力。上述设计可从根本上消除因排气口处有明火可能引燃可燃性气体从而引发蓄电池爆炸的隐患,保障了蓄电池的使用安全性。

1.一种可避免排气口回火引爆的铅酸蓄电池盖,由大盖和排气盖组成,二者对接面热封在一起,所述排气盖两侧对称设有排气部位,各排气部位设有一个气体通道,气体通道中设有滤气片,排气口设置在气体通道外端、排气盖侧壁处,其特征在于:所述滤气片(4)与排气口(6)之间增设一个长形小气室(5),小气室出口(5-1)位于其短边上、与排气口(6)位置对应;所述滤气片沿小气室长边方向平行布置。
