Abstract
A plough for mining purposes, having a plough chain extending along the goaf side and consisting of two separate ploughs with plough bodies which are connected to one another by means of swivel joints, the plough bodies extending below the conveyor trough by means of a dry blade. The plough bodies are each supported on the front side walls of the associated scraper conveyor trough by a horizontal support shaft running on a central bearing. The vertical supporting shaft of the rolling shaft forms a rotating shaft of the plough body. The blades are mounted independently on the plow chain, and are not connected to each other by eliminating other common hinge joints. Thereby, a strong turning capacity and adaptability in passing curves and on the way to the inclined layer and the anticline layer are obtained.
Description
The invention relates to a plough arrangement for mining, in particular a coal plough for underground operation.
British patent GB2072237 discloses a plough arrangement for mining, the purpose of which is to increase the production, which plough arrangement comprises at least two separate ploughs, the plough bodies of which are connected by hinges, a plough drag chain and a cutter carrier. But has the disadvantages that:
the blades of such plough devices are usually connected to one another by means of hinge pins extending transversely to the direction of traction of the plough. In this way, the necessary ability to adjust to the seam floor involved in crossing the syncline and anticline is achieved. However, because of the hinged joint, the jointed blades must be quite long, but the lever arm is used to withstand the considerable lever force of the cutting pick cutting into the seam face when the plough apparatus is in operation, and therefore the plough also needs to be quite long. The lateral forces are further increased as the plow drive overcomes the sliding friction of the leading side walls of the associated face conveyor. All this requires the use of relatively large blades, whose ability to adjust to the floor of the seam (in particular due to the use of swivel joints) is often unsatisfactory, in particular in the case of curves.
The basic object of the present invention is to provide a plough arrangement, in particular a coal plough of the above-mentioned type, whose individual plough and blade are notable both for a better adaptation to curves and for a capability of being adjusted to the seam floor when passing through synclines and anticlines, with the result that the construction is simple and the operation is reliable.
The object of the invention can be achieved by the following measures: a plough arrangement for mining, in particular for underground working, is provided, comprising at least two individual ploughs, the plough bodies of which are connected to one another by a swivel joint, with a plough drag chain running on the goaf side, each plough body extending under the trough of a continuous scraper conveyor by means of a sword plate, the plough bodies being supported on the side walls of the trough of the conveyor on the coal wall side by means of horizontal rollers running on central bearings, the vertical bearing shafts of the rollers forming swivel shafts for the plough bodies, the sword plates being mounted independently on the plough chain and not being connected to one another.
These features of the invention have the effect, firstly, that the bending moment acting on the hinge joint between the individual plows is greatly reduced. In addition, satisfactory control of the transverse forces can be achieved, since the resultant of the forces is concentrated on the rollers, which are successfully slowed down by the rolling movement, so to speak, and, moreover, are significantly reduced with respect to the sliding friction due to the rolling friction between their plough bodies of the individual ploughs and the front side walls of the troughs of the individual conveyors. When the plough arrangement is in operation, it is possible to equip each plough with a much smaller, in particular much shorter, blade than before, due to the large-scale compensation of the transverse forces caused by the shearing forces. In addition, since the relatively short blades are mounted only on the goaf-side plough chain and are not connected by means of joints or hinges, the ability of the blades to follow the seam floor is greatly superior to prior art constructions. In this way, the ability to adjust to the seam floor as it passes through the syncline and anticline is improved. The same applies when passing through a bend. At the same time, the joint between the two individual plows has in any case sufficient play of horizontal movement to pass through a bend-of course also sufficient play of vertical movement to obtain the turning capacity of the blade by means of the syncline and anticline-by eliminating the other usual hinge joints. The invention also provides for one of the individual plows to have a cutter pick that can be used in the lower portion of a seam of mine (e.g., coal) and the other individual plow to have a cutter pick that can be used in the upper portion of the seam of mine. With this type of construction, each plow and their blades receive substantially equal torques, which cancel each other out. By this structure, the above-described effect is enhanced. A shearer pick, which is adjustable relative to the working surface about a vertical axis of rotation, is directionally mounted on the plow body in a conventional manner. For this connection, the invention proposes that each cartridge be provided with a recess for partially accommodating its roller, so that a protected, dust-free assembly of the roller is ensured.
The advantages obtained by the invention mainly lie in: plough installations, in particular coal ploughs, of the above-mentioned type, which allow the use of relatively small and particularly short blades for each plough due to the considerable compensation of the torque and transverse forces caused by the shearing forces, are thus considerably enhanced in their ability to adjust to the bottom of the course when passing through the synclines and the anticlines, as well as in their ability to turn. This is achieved by a relatively simple and operationally reliable arrangement in which the ploughs and the blades are pulled forward independently by means of a plough drag chain.
The invention will now be described in more detail, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a schematic plan view of a plough arrangement according to the invention, in which the associated scraper conveyor trough is not shown.
Fig. 2 is a front view of the plow apparatus of fig. 1.
FIG. 3 is a partial cross-section of the plow of FIG. 1 including a conveyor pan.
The drawing shows a plough arrangement for mining, in particular a coal plough for underground operation, in which there is a plough drag chain 1 which extends along the goaf side (i.e. away from the mine face), the structure of which coal plough essentially consists of at least two individual ploughs 2a, 2b with plough bodies 4a, 4b, which plough bodies 4a, 4b are connected to each other by means of a swivel joint 3, the plough bodies 4a and 4b extending below a conveyor trough 6 by means of a blade arrangement 5a, 5 b. The plough bodies 4a, 4b are each supported on the side walls 8 of the conveyor trough on the coal wall side by means of horizontal supporting roller assemblies 7 running on central bearings. The vertical support shaft 9 of the roller 7 forms a pivot axis for the plough bodies 4a, 4 b. The blades 5a, 5b are mounted independently on the plough chain 1 and are not connected to each other, that is, they are not connected to each other by hinges or other similar means, so that they can be turned in both horizontal and vertical planes. One of the individual plows 2a has a cutter pick 10 which can be used in the lower part of the seam and the other individual plow 2b has a cutter pick 10 which can be used in the upper part of the seam. The cartridge 12 for the additional cutting pick is adjustable relative to the seam about the vertical pivot axis 11 and is mounted in an oriented manner on the plough bodies 4a, 4b in a conventional manner. Each jaw 12 has a recess 13 for partially receiving the support roller 7. The swivel joint 3 between the two individual plows 2a, 2b consists of a fork 14 and a connecting tongue 15 mounted therein. The tongue 15 is provided with a connecting pin 16 to accommodate movement in a vertical plane, pivoting transversely to the direction of traction of the plough. In addition, the coupling tongue 15 is fitted into the fork 14 with a predetermined horizontal play both in the direction of traction of the plough and transversely to the direction of traction. The connecting tongue 15 has a hole elongated in the direction of travel of the plow and receives a connecting pin 16, the connecting tongue 15 being tilted transversely to the direction of travel of the plow. The resulting plough, the individual ploughs 2a, 2b and the blades 5a, 5b, have particularly good turning properties not only by means of horizontal deflection but also by means of vertical deflection, and have a particularly strong ability to adapt to the dipping and backing of the seam floor, in addition to which relatively short blades can be mounted due to the large compensation of torque and transverse forces.
