As shown in fig. 1-8, the carrier has a base 6 and two feet 7. The base 6 is formed by interconnecting an upper portion 61 and a lower portion 62. The upper portion 61 and the lower portion 62 may be made of a high strength plastic material, for example, and are connected to each other by welding. The upper portion 61 may have various desired configurations depending on the type of carrier. For example, when the carrier is a collapsible container, the upper portion may be provided with a hinge structure and connected to the side panels of the container by the hinge structure. Of course, the upper portion 61 and the lower portion 62 may be integrally formed as desired. In the application, the carrier can be a tray, a medium-sized bulk container or a turnover box and the like. The length and width dimensions of the carrier may be, for example, 800mm by 600mm.
Two feet 7 are respectively arranged at the lower sides of two ends of the base 6. The two feet 7 are parallel to each other and a fork truck hole 7a is formed between the two feet 7. The forklift holes 7a are used for inserting the forks of a forklift when carrying the carrier.
The lower sides of the left and right ends of the base 6 are provided with first bosses 12 protruding downward from the lower surface of the base. The base 6 has two first bosses 12 at each of the left and right ends. Two first bosses 12 at one end are located at two corners of the end, respectively. In other words, the lower surface of the base 6 is provided with four first bosses 12, which are located at four corners of the base 6, respectively. The first boss 12 is provided with a mounting hole 12a inside. Both ends of each foot 7 are provided with a second boss 13 protruding upward from the upper surface of the foot 7. The second boss 13 is provided with a mounting hole 13a therein. The second boss 13 abuts against the corresponding first boss 12. The connector 9 passes through the mounting hole of the second boss 13 and the mounting hole of the first boss 12 to connect the foot 7 and the base 6 to each other. Here, the first boss 12 of the base 6 is in face-to-face contact with the second boss of the foot 7, and when the base is impacted by external force, the boss of the base and the boss of the foot can realize displacement, so that the effect of buffering and absorbing energy is achieved.
The outer surfaces of the first boss 12 and the second boss 13 are surrounded by the sheath 8. The shape of the sheath 8 matches the combined shape of the first boss 12 and the second boss 13. In this embodiment, the sheath 8 is a rectangular sleeve with upper and lower openings. The sheath 8 may be made of a metallic material having higher strength.
There is a gap between the inner surface of the sheath 8 and the outer surfaces of the first and second bosses. Therefore, a section of space is reserved between the inner surface of the sheath and the outer surface of the first boss and between the inner surface of the sheath and the outer surface of the second boss, and when the sheath is impacted by external force, the sheath has a certain deformation buffer space. The gap may be formed by providing a plurality of ribs 14 spaced apart from each other on the outer surface of the first boss and a plurality of ribs 15 spaced apart from each other on the outer surface of the second boss 13. Preferably, the gap is 3mm to 8mm in size. More preferably, the gap size is 4mm-6mm.
In the present application, the height of the first boss 12 is much smaller than the height of the second boss 13. In one embodiment, the height of the first boss is 1/12-1/4 of the height of the second boss. Preferably, the height of the first boss is 1/10-1/5 of the height of the second boss. Thus, when the external force of impact exceeds the limit born by the sheath, the second boss of the foot becomes the first stressed piece, thereby protecting the base.
In one embodiment, the height of the first boss 12 is D1, and the value of D1 is between 5mm and 25 mm. The applicant finds that the value of D1 is too small to form effective positioning with the peripheral sheath, and the value of D1 is too large to be easily damaged when impacted by external force. The height of the second boss 13 is D2, and the value of D2 is determined according to the height D3 of the sheath and the height D1 of the first boss, that is, d2=d3-D1. Typically D3 has a value between 70mm and 90 mm.
The base 6 is further provided with a recess 11. The groove 11 is located at a position corresponding to the first boss 12. An insert 10 is placed in the recess 11. The connecting element 9 passes through the second boss 13 and the first boss 11 in turn and is connected to the insert 10, thereby connecting the foot and the base to each other. The bottom surface of the groove 11 of the base 6 extends upward to form a positioning rib 11a. The insert 10 is provided with a slot 10a. The positioning rib 11a is inserted into the slot 10a, thereby mounting the insert 10 in the recess 11 of the base 6.
In one embodiment, the insert 10 is further provided with a threaded bore 10b. At this time, the connector 9 is a bolt. The bolts 9 pass through the mounting holes of the second boss 13 and the mounting holes of the first boss 12 in sequence and are screwed into the screw holes 10b of the insert 10 to connect the foot 7 to the base 6. Preferably, the insert is made of metal. When the metal insert 10 is impacted by external force, the metal insert is used as a direct stress piece, so that the damage to the base can be reduced.
In this embodiment, the middle part of each foot 7 is further provided with a connecting post 16 protruding upwards from the upper surface of the foot. The connecting post 16 is provided with a cavity 16a. A third boss 17 protruding downward from the lower surface of the base is further provided in the middle of one end of the base 6. The third boss 17 is inserted into the cavity 16a. A fork lift hole 18 is also formed between the second boss 13 and the connecting post 16.
Fig. 9 is a force analysis diagram of the base and feet of the carrier of fig. 1. As can be seen from FIG. 9, the foot stress is 82MPa and the base stress is 25MPa. In contrast, under the same conditions, the foot stress of a similar carrier currently on the market is 197Mpa and the foot stress is 68Mpa, see fig. 11. It can be seen that the stress of the base and footing of the present application is greatly reduced.
The carrier can absorb energy through the deformation of the peripheral sheath and the relative displacement of the connection point of the bottom foot and the base when the bottom foot is impacted by external force, so that the base and the bottom foot are protected. When the impact force exceeds the energy absorption limit of the sheath, the base is subjected to most external force due to the characteristics of the heights of the base boss and the base boss, so that the base is protected to the greatest extent, and the later maintenance cost is reduced.
While the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, it should be understood that aspects of the embodiments can be modified, if necessary, to employ aspects, features and concepts of the various patents, applications and publications to provide yet further embodiments.
These and other changes can be made to the embodiments in light of the above detailed description. In general, in the claims, the terms used should not be construed to be limited to the specific embodiments disclosed in the specification and the claims, but should be construed to include all possible embodiments along with the full scope of equivalents to which such claims are entitled.
