Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及用于移动式电子设备的保护套。尤其是,本发明涉及一种用于具有整体电池的移动式电子设备的保护套。这种设备例如可以是智能手机、平板电脑或电子阅读器。
背景技术
某些移动式电子设备,诸如流行的智能手机,具有位于该设备内的一块电池,如果频繁地使用的话,该电池通常只能维持一天多一点的时间。对于许多使用者来说,特别是对于那些大范围旅行的使用者来说,这样的电量通常是不够的。
考虑到移动式电子设备的价值,并且考虑到易于因掉落而摔坏,从而导致相应高的维修费用,通常将设备装入到一个保护性的套中。
现有的许多产品都需要解决以上的问题。事实上,存在这样的保护套,该保护套具有位于该保护套的后壁上并且位于放置在该保护套的移动式电子设备后面的一体式电池。这些电池是相对大的刚性组件,并且容纳这些电池的保护套也是相对较大并且有刚性的。考虑到保护设备的诸多原因,这些相对刚性的材料并不是理想的。首先,就吸收和耗散对保护套的外表面的任意冲击力的能力而言,这些刚性的保护套仅能提供较差的冲击保护。刚性材料自身是相对易碎的,并且当掉落或反复重新使用于所述设备时,刚性材料易于碎裂。
由于电池要求保护套具有刚性的特性,这些保护套是具有两个部件的结构,这些部件从设备的相对两端滑动到一起,以便完全封装所述设备。这样的滑动结构难于安装,通常也不美观,并且当反复再次使用时,两个部件的接合会变得松垮。
还已知其它包含电池的保护套,该保护套在一端是敞口的,以便手机能够沿着与电池共面的方向滑动。这同样提供了较差的冲击保护,尤其是在没有壁的仍未被保护的那一端附近。
发明内容
根据本发明,用于移动式电子设备的保护套包括一体式壳体,所述壳体具有背面,以与所述背面相邻的方式容纳有一电池,直立的侧壁远离所述背面的所有侧延伸以限定用于所述手机的空腔,并且所述壳体的正面中具有由所述侧壁环绕的开口,所述开口足够大,并且所述侧壁具有足够的柔性,以允许所述移动式电子设备经由所述正面而被插入到所述保护套中。
这种保护套第一次实现了将一体式电池的方便性与能够提供最佳冲击保护的优势结合在一起。当掉落时,所述设备的边缘最易受到破坏,因此,柔性壁的存在允许在环绕所述设备的边缘区域的壁中使用具有良好冲击吸收特性的材料。因为侧壁远离背面的所有侧延伸,所以它们给该设备的所有侧都提供了保护。对一体式壳体的需求并不意味着该壳体是由单块材料模制而成的。其仅仅意味着给用户呈现这样一种保护套,该保护套中不存在为了插入设备而需要拆卸彼此的部件。
所述保护套优选地具有从侧壁之一向内突出的插头,在使用中,该插头与电子设备的充电端口相接合。假如侧壁具有足够的柔性,则设备可以在保护套中的插头位于充电端口之上的位置中插入到保护套中。侧壁的材料的弹性然后可以将所述设备完全推到所述插头上。然而,优选地,所述插头被安装成以便能从该插头与所述背面大体平行的第一取向偏转到该插头背离所述背面的第二取向。可偏转的插头可偏转到第二取向以允许所述设备上的充电端口在该设备与侧壁完全接合之前就与所述插头对接。当所述设备被安装在余下的侧壁之间时,所述插头然后可以返回到第一取向。
可偏转的安装可以是该插头被枢轴地安装以便围绕一轴旋转或者被安装至可变形的弹性组件的形式。
电池可以从保护套移除,以便其可以以与所述保护套分开的方式进行充电,并且必要时可以进行更换。然而,优选地,所述电池以不可拆卸的方式密封在所述保护套的后部隔室内。表述“不可拆卸的方式密封”的使用意味着使用者在正常使用时不能接触电池的事实。替代地,为了这样做,他们不得不不可修复地破坏保护套的材料。
电池可以是任何合适的电池,包括现有技术中已知的那些电池。然而,优选地,所述电池是锂陶瓷电池。这样的电池可以购自辉能科技公司(ProLogium TechnologyCorporation)。这样的电池是薄的、柔性的、防漏的并且不易过热的。因此,其可以安全地与保护套结合,而不会过于增加保护套的体积。
优选地,所述保护套的最大厚度为13mm。
所述保护套可简单地与所述设备的侧壁接合,以便将其保持到位。然而,优选地,所述侧壁具有向内突出的唇缘,该唇缘被构造成与所述设备的上部周缘表面接合。这样的配置提供了与设备更加安全的接合。

所述保护套的背面的材料可以与所述侧壁的柔性材料相同。然而,优选地,背面由刚性比侧壁强的材料制成。
电池可以暴露在所述设备的后部。然而,优选地,一板在所述保护套上延伸以将所述电池与所述移动式电子设备的隔室分隔开。所述平板优选由比侧壁更具刚性的材料制成。优选地,所述板和后壁形成用于电池的密闭隔室。

具体实施方式
如可从图1清楚地看到的,保护套由主壳体1和基板2构成,主壳体1和基板2之间容纳扁平的矩形电池3。
主壳体1具有大体矩形的构造,带有由诸如PC的相对坚硬的材料制成的平坦背面4。基板2由类似的坚硬的材料构成。若干直立的侧壁5围绕背面4。这些侧壁由诸如TPU的较软的材料构成。外壁可具有由双注塑工艺形成的内层,或者可具有作为由比TPU软的黏弹性聚合物(例如,诸如Kraiburg Thermolast K的TPE或诸如BASFElastoflex的PU泡沫)制成的嵌入式模具的内层。黏弹性聚合物层可具有朝向所述设备突出的若干向内突出的肋,并且还可具有朝向外层突出的若干向外突出的肋。这些肋将有助于抵消施加在保护套上的冲击力。
保护套具有用于诸如充电插头和相机镜头的设备特征部的普通孔6、7,并且还设置有允许接近设备上的各种控制件的特征部8。在使用中,侧壁5的顶部处的唇缘9将会在设备的面上延伸一小部分。当前的附图示出了一个用于i-Phone 6的保护套,但是容易理解的是,取决于所述设备的特性,还可以设置类似的特征部。
电池3是锂离子电池,该锂离子电池被容纳在背面4和基板2之间,使得容纳电池3的隔室相对于使用者来说是封闭的。基板2在靠近手机的充电端口的那一端具有壳体10,该壳体10具有多种功能。这是一种成形为围绕所述设备的下边缘进行安装的刚性结构。然而,该壳体受到下侧壁5的环绕,从而保护其免受冲击。插头11从壳体10向内延伸,并且被构造为安装在设备的充电端口中。插头11可被安装至壳体10的弹性部分,使得其可以从正常的使用位置(在该正常的使用位置,插头大体上平行于背面的平面突出)偏转到背离背面的平面。在这个向前的位置,所述设备可被置于插头11上,在此,所述设备和插口都向下偏转到所述保护套的如图3所示位置中,在这里,其受到侧壁5和唇缘9的保持。

还存在于壳体中的是控制电路,该控制电路决定电池3以及所述设备中的电池的控制策略。例如,控制电路将确定电池3何时完全充满以关闭充电过程,并且确定何时从电池3向所述设备的电池充电。在电池3和壳体10之间也存在电连接。在保护套的后面设置有灯12,以显示充电的程度。
壳体10可以在所述设备的耳机插孔附近设置有相对大的洞,以便允许接近耳机插孔。可替代地,壳体10中可以设有与所述设备的耳机插孔接合的插头。该插头可以按照类似于充电插头11的方式柔性地进行安装。相应地,可以在壳体10中设置相应的孔,以便按照从壳体10到所述设备中电连接到插头的方式接收耳机插头。
尤其是应该可以从图2理解的是,使用安装在两个相对薄的PC层之间的锂陶瓷电池的设计是一种非常低轮廓的设备。所述保护套的厚度T优选小于13mm。
Claims (14)
1.一种用于移动式电子设备的保护套,该保护套包括一体式壳体,所述壳体具有背面,以与所述背面相邻的方式容纳有一电池,直立的侧壁远离所述背面的所有侧延伸以限定用于所述手机的空腔,并且所述壳体的正面中具有由所述侧壁环绕的开口,所述开口足够大,并且所述侧壁具有足够的柔性,以允许所述移动式电子设备经由所述正面而被插入到所述保护套中。
2.如权利要求1所述的保护套,该保护套进一步包括从所述侧壁之一向内突出的插头,在使用中,所述插头与所述移动式电子设备中的充电端口相接合。
