本发明属于造纸用精细化学品技术领域,具体涉及一种造纸涂料用改性瓜尔胶增稠剂及其制备方法。所述增稠剂各原料的重量百分比如下:瓜尔胶0.4-20%、不饱和酸2-20%、丙烯酸酯类5-40%、功能单体0.1-3%、乳化剂0.02-5%、交联剂0.01-2%、引发剂0.2-3%、pH缓冲剂0.3-1%、水余量。化学改性瓜尔胶使其结构更加稳定,解决了易产生絮凝和滋生微生物的缺点,且由原来的加热搅拌溶解变为直接添加,大大降低了热能,节省了大量配置造纸涂料的时间、赋予了瓜尔胶很好的流动性,解决了造纸涂料在涂饰时容易飞溅的问题,并减少胶黏剂、助粘剂及OBA的使用,降低了生产成本。

本发明属于造纸用精细化学品技术领域,具体涉及一种造纸涂料用改性瓜尔胶增稠剂及其制备方法。
背景技术
现在市场上出现的造纸涂料增稠剂都是水溶性天然高分子材料,能够使涂料具有一定的粘度和悬浮力,但在添加时往往步骤比较繁琐,浪费时间,而且它们没有流动性且透明性差,施工过程中很容易发生飞溅、产生絮凝,易滋生对纸张质量产生危害的微生物。
瓜尔胶是从瓜尔豆中提取的一种高纯化天然多糖,由于其独特的分子结构特点及天然性,使其迅速成为性能优越的新型环保造纸助剂。瓜尔胶能够分散于水中形成高粘度液体,但天然瓜尔胶存在以下缺点:水不溶物含量高;不能快速溶胀水合,溶解速度慢;粘度不易控制;流动性差;透明度不够;耐电介质耐微生物降解性较差。经过改性后,可满足不同的应用要求,扩大其应用领域。
发明内容
为解决现有技术中存在的上述问题,本发明提供一种造纸涂料用改性瓜尔胶增稠剂及其制备方法。
本发明采用如下技术方案:
一种造纸涂料用改性瓜尔胶增稠剂,各原料的重量百分比如下:
所述不饱和酸为丙烯酸、马来酸和甲基丙烯酸中的一种或多种。
所述丙烯酸酯类为丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸酯中的一种或多种。
所述功能单体为脂肪醇聚氧乙烯醚甲基丙烯酸酯和三苯乙烯聚氧乙烯甲基丙烯酸酯中的一种或多种。
所述乳化剂为阴离子乳化剂和/或非离子乳化剂,配合使用时二者配比为2-5:1-2,其中阴离子乳化剂为十二烷基硫酸钠、十二烷基苯磺酸钠中的一种或多种,非离子乳化剂为OP‐10、AEO‐9、NP‐10中的一种或多种,优选十二烷基硫酸钠和OP-10。
所述交联剂为DAP、丙烯酰胺、N,N-亚甲基双丙烯酰胺和N-羟甲基丙烯酰胺中的一种或多种,优选N-羟甲基丙烯酰胺。
所述引发剂为过硫酸盐,优选过硫酸钾。
一种所述的造纸涂料用改性瓜尔胶增稠剂的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
(1)将不饱和酸、丙烯酸酯、功能单体、乳化剂、交联剂用适量水溶解待用,将部分引发剂用适量水溶解待用;
(2)将瓜尔胶和剩余引发剂加入到剩余水中,搅拌升温至30‐90℃,保温0.5‐3小时后添加pH缓冲剂调节pH为3‐4;
(3)同时滴加步骤(1)所得单体混合物和引发剂溶液,3‐5h滴加完毕;
(4)保温2‐4h后降温、出料。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有下述技术效果:
(1)化学改性瓜尔胶使其由固态变为液态,由原来的加热搅拌溶解变为直接添加,大大降低了热能,节省了大量配置造纸涂料的时间、赋予了瓜尔胶很好的流动性,解决了造纸涂料在涂饰时容易飞溅的问题。
(2)化学改性使其结构更加稳定,解决了易产生絮凝和滋生微生物的缺点,且能最低成本地满足流变性、保水性和粘度需求,实现和稳定涂料的高固含量,减少不需要的水进入涂料,并可以顺利的泵送、过滤、减少泡沫产生、稳定涂料上料、能使涂料在恰当刮刀压力下运行,便于控制涂布量、没有条痕和翻料、高车速下顺利运行。
(3)减少胶乳、助粘剂及OBA的用量、增大碳酸钙填料的用量,降低成本,提高纸张的光泽度和白度及提高纸张的印刷适应性及光学性能。
(4)所得产品自身粘度为50-90mpa.s,用于造纸涂料时,其添加浓度为百分之二时水溶液的粘度可达到2000mpa.s、PVI为0.6,百分之十时水溶液的粘度可达到300000mpa.s。
具体实施方式
实例1
称取20g去离子水、10g丙烯酸、17g丙烯酸丁酯、1g脂肪醇聚氧乙烯醚甲基丙烯酸酯、3g十二烷基硫酸钠、0.3gDAP混合均匀,微加热溶解,剧烈搅拌10min待用。称取过硫酸钾0.4g溶于56g去离子水中待用。
将100g去离子水、20g瓜尔胶原粉、1g过硫酸钾加入带有搅拌和冷凝装置的四口烧瓶内,开始升温至75℃,保温3h后,向烧瓶中加入1g的醋酸,调pH值为3-4。
同时滴加单体混合物和过硫酸钾溶液,4h滴加完毕,保温3h后降温到30℃以下,出料得乳白色半透明液体,其固含量为26%,粘度由NDJ-1型旋转粘度计测定为60mpa.s。
实例2
称取20g去离子水、6g甲基丙烯酸、21g甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、2g脂肪醇聚氧乙烯醚甲基丙烯酸酯、4g三苯乙烯聚氧乙烯甲基丙烯酸酯、3g十二烷基硫酸钠、0.2gN,N-亚甲基双丙烯酰胺混合均匀,微加热溶解,剧烈搅拌10min待用。称取过硫酸钾0.6g溶于56g去离子水中待用。
将100g去离子水、20g瓜尔胶原粉、1g过硫酸钾加入带有搅拌和冷凝装置的四口烧瓶内,开始升温至65℃,保温0.5h后,向烧瓶中加入2g的醋酸,调pH值为3-4。
同时滴加单体混合物和过硫酸钾溶液,3h滴加完毕,保温3h后降温到30℃以下,出料得乳白色半透明液体,其固含量为24%,粘度由NDJ-1型旋转粘度计测定为80mpa.s。
实例3
称取20g去离子水、13g丙烯酸、14g甲基丙烯酸乙酯、0.5g脂肪醇聚氧乙烯醚甲基丙烯酸酯、2g三苯乙烯聚氧乙烯甲基丙烯酸酯、3g十二烷基硫酸钠、1gOP-10、0.5gN-羟甲基丙烯酰胺混合均匀,微加热溶解,剧烈搅拌10min待用。称取过硫酸钾0.6g溶于56g去离子水中待用。
将100g去离子水、30g瓜尔胶原粉、1g过硫酸钾加入带有搅拌和冷凝装置的四口烧瓶内,开始升温至80℃,保温0.5h后,向烧瓶中加入2.5g的醋酸,调pH值为3-4。
同时滴加单体混合物和过硫酸钾溶液,3h滴加完毕,保温3h后降温以下,出料得乳白色透明液体,其固含量为25%,粘度由NDJ-1型旋转粘度计测定为90mpa.s。

6.根据权利要求1所述的造纸涂料用改性瓜尔胶增稠剂,其特征在于,所述交联剂为DAP、丙烯酰胺、N,N-亚甲基双丙烯酰胺和N-羟甲基丙烯酰胺中的一种或多种。
7.根据权利要求1所述的造纸涂料用改性瓜尔胶增稠剂,其特征在于,所述引发剂为过硫酸盐。
8.一种如权利要求1-7任意一项所述的造纸涂料用改性瓜尔胶增稠剂的制备方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
(1)将不饱和酸、丙烯酸酯、功能单体、乳化剂、交联剂用适量水溶解待用,将部分引发剂用适量水溶解待用;
(2)将瓜尔胶和剩余引发剂加入到剩余水中,搅拌升温至30-90℃,保温0.5-3小时后添加pH缓冲剂调节pH为3-4;
(3)同时滴加步骤(1)所得单体混合物和引发剂溶液,3-5h滴加完毕;
(4)保温2-4h后降温、出料。
